I recently had the pleasure of staying four nights at Hotel Indigo in Auckland, New Zealand. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of the city, this boutique hotel offers a perfect blend of modern design, local culture, and exceptional service (although at the time of this review there wasn’t an onsite restaurant).

As soon as I stepped into the hotel, I was captivated by its vibrant and artistic decor. Each floor pays homage to the rich cultural heritage of Auckland, with local artwork and design elements that reflect the city’s history and natural beauty. The lobby is cozy and inviting, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

My room was a beautifully appointed space with contemporary furnishings and a comfortable bed that promised a good night’s sleep. The large windows provided stunning views of the city skyline, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a well-stocked minibar, a coffee, tea, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a walk-in shower and high-quality toiletries that added a touch of luxury to my stay.

Hotel Indigo’s central location is a significant advantage. I found myself just a short walk away from popular attractions like the Sky Tower, Viaduct Harbour, and the bustling Queen Street. The hotel is also conveniently situated near public transport options, making it easy to explore further afield.

The level of service at Hotel Indigo was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. From the friendly front desk personnel to the attentive housekeeping team, everyone was genuinely welcoming and eager to assist with any requests or recommendations.

Overall, my stay at Hotel Indigo Auckland was a wonderful experience. The combination of stylish accommodations, excellent dining, and outstanding service made it a standout choice for anyone visiting the city. Whether you’re in Auckland for business or leisure, I highly recommend Hotel Indigo as a home away from home. I look forward to returning on my next visit to this...

If you're an art and history enthusiast who also enjoys super efficient and hi-tech services, then Hotel Indigo is THE PLACE to stay in Auckland. We've always loved our stays at Hotel Indigo's around the world as each hotel is designed to showcase the local area art and history. They are ready to take you back in time with intimate details of the neighborhood or the old building where they are located, yet they still fascinate the guests with their modern amenities. Hotel Indigo Auckland was even more hi-tech than the others where we have stayed, yet each piece of artwork and wall fixture were carefully selected to provide that nostalgic, old-world charm. The hotel is also located in a very quiet, leafy neighborhood, yet it’s only a short stroll to popular restaurants (#1 Auckland Restaurant from TripAdvisor, ‘The Grove’, is right next door!) and the harbor.||Our room was spacious and had panoramic view of Auckland city and harbor. The bed felt luxurious and super comfortable for our holiday, while the room was fully equipped with desk and all modern technologies to accommodate your workstation if needed. The mini bar was all complimentary and came with special drinks that feature New Zealand products. ||And yet, more to come as exciting news for this lovely hotel – The in-house restaurant and cafe are ready for the April opening with Auckland’s experienced chefs to showcase French and continental cuisine! As this hotel is so new, more special features continue to be added as we speak. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous – They were also eager to share fascinating stories of the hotel and its exciting future. Go, Indigo! Go! Can’t wait for...

This is by far, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was very clean and all the small, fine details were shown everywhere on how clean every really was. The view from the 22nd floor was stunning and felt like only something you would see in a movie. The rooms were always perfectly clean upon arriving back from work everyday. All of the staff were super nice and one of the staff member, Wayne, really stood out. He is extremely knowledgeable about not only the history of the hotel but also, a lot of things to do in the area or even out of town. He was also very knowledgeable when it came to side conversations. He always made sure everything was taken care of and made sure I also has what I needed. If you want to say theres a downfall of this hotel, it would be thats theres no parking on site, but the quickness of the staff doing the valet, they were never late and always took care of the vehicle. Also, everything is within walking distance like food, drinks, barbers, grocery store, coffee, pharmacy, bank, etc. Anytime I am back in Auckland, I will stay here every single time. You can't beat the view, the staff, the hospitality, and just everything.

This place is EXCELLENT! We are already planning our next trip just so we can stay here again. The service was exceptional, the rooms were so well thought out. All the little finishing touches made it so nice to just chill. I am a overpacker but there was plenty of room for my clothes and accessories and I adored that there were plenty of hangers. And cute shelves etc to put all my accessories. The view was exquisite and the food was sooo good. We had a dinner and two breakfasts and afternoon drinks. I can not say enough great things about the mocktails! I was not able to drink this trip but if your mocktails are anything to go by I am looking forward to trying the cocktails next time. The price was so good, the location is really easy and having the gorgeous cathedral next door makes for awesome photos. This has become my absolute favourite hotel to stay in Auckland city and we are bringing the rest of the family and friends next time. I can not recommend it highly enough.
