The Kebab House — Local services in Christchurch

Went to this place earlier this year but never had time to review it. This place is extremily rude. For start i was in Christchurch for convention and popped into this store by mistake. The indian guy was so rude. Me being a muslim, i asked him if the food is halal and requested to see the certifcate. he told me off to go somewhere else. I asked him politely to just show me the certifcate and i'll order. He banged the table, and loudly told me to go somewhere else. I dont even know how this place is still operating. we left. This was a very bad experience for me. We will never go back. and encourage others to find another kebab store.

I hear you. I am educated and do have a high paid job. I am not quiet sure how your response that i should smart and respectful will change my experience of rude customer service. I do however wish you the best for your business and future. Just as a fyi, muslims quiet sensitive with their food and take Halal seriously. Please respect us also by displaying the Halal certifcate if you do have them. This way we can help each other. I went there for today for lunch to try something new in the area, I can honestly say the worst food iv had in a long time! I ordered the mixed meat on chips and what I got was questionable meat on chips the beef was like tree bark and crunchy no amount of sauce could save it! Went there after reading about the effects of the road construction on these businesses. Ordered a medium kebab. There was a special listed on the sandwich board outside for $10 - got charged full price at $13.50, I went with it and didn't say anything. I left with the smallest kebab I have ever seen with virtually no meat in it.
