Booked my birthday dinner two weeks ago for a table of thirteen for the 9/7 due to being a big table we thought we'd prepare them ,as we arrived we all proceeded to buy drinks and of course got asked for identification of our age, the waiter came to our table to ask if we were ready to order our food which we were but then he demanded that we all showed our identification of age before we ordered food, there were two pregnant people and four people who were not drinking which we stated yet he still wanted to see, i thought this was highly unnecessary! As our food arrived majority of the orders were incorrect, the burgers stated that they came with curly fries yet we got served french fries we asked why this had happened and we got a rude response from a female of "we are short" and she walked away, this should of been stated that they were short while ordering. Ordered chicken nachos without guacamole, pork belly without salad or apple extra fries and gravy was all incorrect, our starter or garlic bread and a bowl of curly fries never arrived only the garlic bread showed up after the mains were served, my mother who ordered her meal "first" got completely forgotten about until we asked were it was,we did get an apology from the manager and said she could have a free drink for the mistake. As we were all finishing up with our meals finally my mothers arrived and she had to sit there and eat by herself as we had all finished which all made us feel very uncomfortable and disappointed! We were very happy to be told she didn't need to pay for her meal, saved us from mentioning it. While ending the evening outside to finish our drinks after paying the waiter came out and told us that the kitchen is not happy we did not pay for the extra gravy and asked for $5, we had to go back in to talk to the manager because as paying they wiped the $5 gravy off because of the mistake from another meal, then told us that we owe money for a bowl of curly fries that we never even received which we mentioned and walked out. I have never received such poor quality of service before in all my experiences of dining out which i do very often, The wait staff need extra training nothing that we ordered got read back to us as a confirmation that everything is correct, no specials of the day was told before ordering we had to ask. maybe for a bigger group have two waiters on such a big table, i would HIGHLY not recommend this place to go to for a fun evening out to enjoy...

Appalling service, I am a regular customer there since my hotel was nearby. I loved their pulled chicken pizza and I had it few times there. Yesterday I was in a rush and wanted to visit someone in Wigram. as I was in a rush, I called them from my work and ordered my usual pizza and brownie for dessert. It was 15 min walk from my work, I ordered it from work so that it would be ready when I am there. When I got there after waiting for few min they told me to waite another 10 to 15 min as they have another big order. I said Ok, waited another 15 min and as soon as the food arrived I rushed out. When I got to my destination and opened the pizza box, I got shocked, there was more crust than stuffing. Around 10cm around the pizza was empty and it was just crust (as shown in the picture). I called them and I was advised I can return it and get another one or get the hotel to not charge it. I said i can't come tonight as im in wigram but can I come tomorrow and you can give me the replacement then, he said ok. Next day I showed up and from my bad luck my phone was completely dead and I asked them for a charger. I asked the guy can I plz have the replacement for the pizza? he said no we cnt just belevie people, you have to show me evidence...also I checked the pizza before I gave it to you yesterday... i felt insulted at this point, I told him " look first of all im a regular customer here, secondly I do have pic and video but as you know my phone is dead. I am not a new customer and I certainly do not need to lie about a pizza, thats ridiculous, Im not a thief or a begger". He said, sorry that's what my manager told me. I was shocked at his behavior. Eventually my phone got 1% charge and I showed him the pic and video and he totally agreed with me and took it to his kitchen staff to show them how Not to make pizza. after all of this ordeal he still said no I cnt give you a free pizza you need to buy one but what I can do is to email the hotel to not charge you for last nights pizza. I was shocked once again, I said I don't want to spend one more cent here. Anyways my point is that this was handeled really poorly and I will not return there angain, I was very loyal to them but they let me down. At the end I told him "I dont want your pizza and no you dont need to email just keep the money". I was very upset and I left. 30th November 2018 - I came here for lunch with friends.

Anyway, nothing much have changed as the interior layout is pretty much the same as before since my last visit in Aug 2016. The place has plenty of natural light (lots of glazing) and it feels cosy.

The menu is very straightforward and is not overwhelming (which is a good thing) with choices. There are other dishes, "today's specials" on the blackboard.

I ordered a pot of mussels (called Mills Bay Mussels) which the mussels are steamed in a white wine, chilli, garlic and coriander broth. It was served with garlic bread and let me tell you, it was delish and flavoursome. I like the broth; thick and tasty. The dish had some enough spiciness to enjoy (without destroying the taste) and goes well by dipping the garlic bread slices (I wish I had more).

Overall, I had a good experience from this restaurant.

18 Aug 2016 - I went there about two weeks ago at night for a drink. There are 4 different bars, all belong to the same owner.

Have plenty of choices, especially craft beers 🍺. You will be spoilt for choice. I had a tough time choosing a beer that I like 😵.

Very relaxing atmosphere, and the view (sitting outside at smoking area) was magnificent! Can see the buildings unhindered beyond Manchester Street with bright lights 🌃.
