City Chic Tauranga — Local services in North Island

WOW. I’m from Gisborne and I’m in Tauranga visiting my parents and we stopped by City Chic today, I’ve always had larger breasts so it’s extremely difficult to find clothes that fit properly and are flattering, I’ve also gained weight recently and had just finished crying to my mum about how terrible I’m feeling about myself and how I don’t like looking at myself.

We were just browsing and then we met Nakeisha, she is the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. She constantly reassured me, she was helping match bra/dress colours, showing me different ways to wrap my dress so I can dress it up and down, and she made me feel confident in myself again which is something I haven’t felt for a long while. You can tell she loves her job, and she loves being able to help people like me who are struggling. We happened to be similar age/size so she was sharing some of her experiences too which just made me more comfortable and I left the store a whole different person.

Drove from rotorua to tauranga to look for sthg new & special to wear. Walking in K&K (it's been years since I've been in 1 again) there were so many lovely garments. Store clean tidy inviting & colourful. Something for any occasion I reckon. Staff were friendly & helpful and in particular Sharyn. She asked what was I looking for, what's my style n made suggestions. I'd mentioned I felt hot n she went out back to get a fan for my personal dressing room 👗 nothing was a bother for Sharyn and she suggested ideas and gave tips regarding her own wardrobe from k&k and accessorise & shoe wear which was very helpful for me! After trying a half dozen lovely items I finally chose sthg which was v different to what I wd normally wear which really appealed to me. I was so impressed w my new top n Cammy I wore underneath it, I chose to wear it out the store! (Of course I paid for it lol) & my details were still on k&k database from long ago!
