As transplants from the US we’re suckers for a NY style pizza and were thrilled to find Sal’s back when they were take out only in their old location because the pizza is great. Absolutely thrilled about their partnership with Brew Bar. This is the perfect spot to hang out for a pizza and beer. Parents look no further - they’ve got tons of board games and a video game console to entertain the kiddos which makes it parent friendly but without bored whiny kids running around killing the vibe. Spent 100s to get sals delivered to our home in wanaka. It was over an hour past when it was meant to arrive before we finally realised it was never coming. Called and they said the Uber driver never picked it up. Just be warned the delivery for Sals is operated by Uber not its own delivery driver, so if you have the choice don’t get delivery- it won’t happen. Finally picked up the pizzas ourselves and it was cold and gross. Contacted customer service to get a refund of the ridiculous $12 delivery fee and no one ever got back to me. What a...
