Bed Bath N' Table Newmarket — Local services in Waitematā

Missed customer opportunity by very poor staff!! Came in today to buy some towels. There were three young female store assistants milling about, who could clearly see I was looking for something as I was in there for at least 15 mins before I asked one of them for help. They were all actively just ignoring me. I explained I was looking for a matching set - bath towels and bath mat - (pretty standard!) as nothing on display seemed to actually match. I asked if there was a matching set- again quite a basic question for a bath shop!

The girl i asked spent 5-10 minutes looking on her ladder and rifling through boxes and then went back into the store room but didn’t communicate what was happening. She finally said that stock was showing on the site but she couldn’t locate them. She didn’t attempt to offer me an alternative colour set or attempt to offer a solution, as I was clearly in the headspace to buy. Massively missed out on a customer purchasing something!! Very disappointed as all I wanted was some bamboo towels with a matching bath mat!

Finally, something else to note was that there was boxes everywhere in the middle of the shop in several places, making most of the things inaccessible for someone with a pram like myself or elderly people trying to get past and I had to move one of the boxes myself.
