KOOKAÏ Teed Street — Local services in Waitematā

I visited about a week ago and found the staff quite unprofessional. They didn’t look up to say hello and when I approached one of the sales assistants at the till to return my item, she basically told me incorrect information and said that the other sales assistant would help (who was on the phone to a customer). When the sales assistant got off the phone she was fairly helpful, but the other girl with long black hair pounced on the item I was returning saying she wanted it for herself and that she had been waiting for it to come back in store and then when another assistant asked her the size of it she kind of whispered it as if the size was a secret or an issue and then looked me up and down. The third assistant with long hair had just started her shift and the other assistants stopped serving me to tell her how “amazing” she looked. I thought the whole thing was bizarre and like I was at a college party with giggling and immature girls. I had put a skirt on hold & spent a 2 hour round trip to pick it up to find it has 5 visible marks on the front. Was told I could have it 20% off. They tried to remove it and I waited close to an hour for that & was told it couldn’t be removed so I had to pay full price for the wrong size or nothing. I spent close to 4 hours of my day off on this. All they could offer was 20% off a very faulty product. I ended up paying full price for the wrong size as I had already spent so much time on this. I visited your Teed Street store on the weekend with my 17 year old daughter looking for a ball dress. I would like to call out Amelia the sales assistant who was AMAZING! seriously, she went out of her way to find sizes, check in on us and gave such a wonderful shopping experience for such special occasion.
