Walking into the store on a seemingly quite yet consistent day, I was assisted and styled by Jaz, who provided the most amazing customer service and styling advice. I shared my brief and also that I was intentionally window shopping, and she served me to the same standard that she would to purchasing customers. Jaz is a Kowtow ambassador and shows the same integrity that the label does. Preferring to shop sustainably, she was never pushy and encouraged me to take my time and mull over my choices. I will certainly be coming back to purchase my items. It is both so lovely to wear good quality, well sourced clothing as much as it is to support businesses who have excellent employees. I am so impressed by Kowtow's recent repair service - the dress I bought two years ago started slightly ripping under one arm, and I thought it might be the end of my favourite dress. I emailed the Kowtow team with photos and told me they could fix it for free if I posted the dress to them! It's a stunning piece that I always thought of as an investment that has paid off. It was a few hundred dollars, but I wear it to work, out with dressier shoes, and always look fabulous and feel comfortable. Love this label. The quality of the cotton I’ve found really good, consistent, reasonable weight, holds its shape and doesn’t shrink (when you follow the instructions). Staff are lovely and helpful and it’s also great that the sizes are generous meaning a wide range of shapes and sizes can fit this label. This year I’ve noticed a different weight of cotton “summer weight”, I’m yet to wear the dress and trial how the cotton stands up to wear but there’s nothing that would make me think it wasn’t...
