Very disappointing customer service. I purchased a pair of shoes a couple of years ago from this store which I had been saving for the right occasion and recently having found the opportunity to wear them, I was very let down and scammed; the box clearly states that it is made from leather however after wearing them for about two days, it had come to my attention that this was not the case. I found that the lining was synthetic which had begun to peel just after a couple days of use!! Pat Menzies should have an idea of what they are selling to their customers. Furthermore, hoping for compensation of some sort I was very disappointed and completely denied any money back or store credit which I would have understood if the defect was by result of wear or damage however this was not the case, it was falsely advertised as leather which was not true. The clerk kept rudely insisting that because it has been purchased years ago that they would not do anything about it, which is ridiculous as I had not worn them prior to a couple weeks ago from this review and for a very short period of time. I had been a loyal customer to Pat Menzies and have purchased multiple pairs of shoes in the past however this will no longer be the case, they have lost a loyal customer due to their lack of customer service and disrespect. Ordering online is a complete hassle. Ordered my first pair in November and my second a couple of weeks ago in April. THEY SENT ME THE WRONG SHOES BOTH TIMES!! Like I ordered black Dr. Martens and got fuzzy animal print slippers kinda wrong. Oh my so frustrating! Had to spend time asking a friend to use their printer so I could send it back, had to drive to the post office in town, spent easily a couple of hours trying to fix the mess caused by this store. Both pairs were gifts for my partner so I got them delivered to a friends house for secrecy, because of this it took a few days after being delivered for me to collect them and notice they were incorrect. When contacting the store the service was average, both times the person on the other end of the phone made me feel uncomfortable for not calling immediately and made me feel like I was running late. Calling the store is rather annoying tbh, had to phone 3 times before someone would actually talk to me about an online order. Overall, the idea of buying another pair of shoes from here makes...

First time purchase, was so excited to receive the order placed online. Order arrived, I was sent the incorrect size. I reached out via email and Facebook messenger. Eventually I was sent a generic email with a return label. So I sent shoes back. The size I ordered wasn’t even in stock so I missed out. I was refunded full amount quickly. The process was disappointing. Won’t repurchase.
