My favourite spot for Korean BBQ in my hood! Love it even more because they have my favourite cider (Rekorderlig) on the menu. Friendly staff, tasty BBQ and side dishes. They're also super quick so you're not waiting ages for your order. My usual is the full bulgogi (#1) but I tried #12 (chicken chapssal gui) for the first time a year ago and I really liked it so have been ordering it more frequently. Am drooling just thinking about it so need to go back here for dinner real soon! I tend to swap out my kimchi side dish for either another sweet potatoe or seaweed side dish. My mate and I love coming here when he's visiting from Perth but I come here a lot with other friends or colleagues. I should probably explore the menu more though as I keep ordering the same thing every time I come here so will aim to branch out when I'm here next.

Well I kind of branched on out on my most recent lunch here with my friend by ordering the dumplings. Dumplings were tasty and I'd order them again however, my bulgogi that I ordered as my main had a lot of fat on the meat and it wasn't a great portion compared to other times I've ordered it so this was disappointing. I'll be ordering...

Does it happen to you, but once in a while I have cravings for Korean food🇰🇷 - sizzling hot plates of grilled meats, massive soul warming hotpots, bulgogi, soft tofu, fried chicken, steamed eggs, noodles, kimchi, pancake and all the side dishes…I want them all❣️

Dined at this Korean eatery with a friend who recently discovered this little hidden gem on High St. We sat next to the huge glass window which was left ajar – perfect spot watching the rain 🌧 stubbornly falling onto the pavement and seeing people hastily walking past by on an early Saturday evening. The menu has all the classic and traditional meals - my friend is a bulgogi fan and I as usual ordered something soupy – Soybean Paste Soup w seafood, tofu and an assortment of vegetables. The food was exactly what Korean food should be😻; one thing I noticed though we didn’t get Kimchi as a side dish that evening...

When asked how long the restaurant has been around, the waiter proudly told us it has been about 8️⃣ years & cheekily said “we are famous”😅...

Saw the girl sitting next to us ordering something with glass noodles in spicy soup – that’s what I’m...

BANG FOR YOUR BUCK

First of all the staff are accommodating and courteous, as they should be. The resto is located somewhere at the heart of Highlands.

Now lets get down to the food...

IT IS DECENT...Nice presentation, good amount of banchan served and given to you all in a single tray which i think serves to my neat freak soul.

WELL MADE...We have eaten at a lot of korean restaurants before and we always make sure to order two things, the Kimchi Jiggae and either Gyeopsal or Galbi. To our satisfaction, their kimchi soup is just devine. And just for under twenty bucks as a full meal it is honestly a steal! In addition, we ordered their LA Galbi. Nice marinade, served in a sizzling plate. One thing we didn't like though is that they used bone-in beef slices, im guessing because its a cheap cut of beef. The problem is its a very tough cut of beef, so im guessing they had to do it that way to make sure they can offer the full meal for just twenty bucks.

VERDICT...Worth the trip, worth the money. Definitely a good place to go for...
