Being an intrepid and adventurous solo traveller, it was my life's dream to set foot in Pakistan which is brimming with tourism potential. I chose Mr Shahid as my tour guide for my 2 days in Lahore and it was the best choice. Despite the sweltering summer heat of up to 45 degrees Celsius, I still managed to have a deeply meaningful experience, exploring historical monuments such as the Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Shalimar Bagh, Tomb of Jehangir and others. Mr Shahid was a very knowledgeable and polite tour guide, providing good context and background whenever we visited a certain monument. He was also willing to snap good photographs of me as I was a solo traveller. He also was patient and flexible in accommodating my additional requests such as me wanting to stop at shops to get personal items, visiting the Sacred Heart Cathedral (I am a Catholic, so I really wanted to visit) or spending extra time at the souvenir shops. He also introduced me to his friends and I got a taste of authentic Pakistani hospitality. The tour was meant to be by motorbike for both days, but Mr Shahid was kind enough to drive me around in his own car for Day 1, which was a big help, considering the unbearable heat. Highly recommended.

My buddy and I decided to take a trip across the Wagah Border to Lahore for 3 days. From the beginning Shahid helped us with our visa situation to make sure they were completed with all proper paperwork . Shahid met us right past customs at the closest spot he could wait along with our driver for three days. He immediately spotted us and we had no issues finding him at all. We were on a pretty tight schedule trying to fit in as much as possible and Shahid made sure we saw as everything plus some! We had a great tour around the city seeing all the major sites and landmarks. His knowledge of the city and country was unbelievable as he was always sharing bits of history and information on the go. We saw several markets, mosques, Lahore Museum, and the famous Wagah Border Ceremony from the Pakistani side. This was an awesome experience all around and cant thank Shahid enough for showing us though his amazing country. Of our month long vacation, our experience in Pakistan was absolutely the most memorable and favorite part! If you have the opportunity at all to tour Lahore, make sure you contact Shahid, owner of Indus Holidays! You wont regret it!

A Captivating Journey Through Lahore's Historic Streets

I recently had the privilege of joining the "Walled City of Lahore Guided Tour," and it was an experience that left me thoroughly enchanted. Led by an incredibly knowledgeable guide, this tour offered a deep dive into the heart of Lahore's rich history and culture.

From the moment we set foot on the ancient cobbled streets, I was transported back in time. The guide's vivid storytelling and historical insights painted a vivid picture of Lahore's past, making every step feel like a journey through the annals of history.

One of the highlights was exploring the walled city's hidden gems, some of which I never would have discovered on my own. From the breathtaking architecture of the Lahore Fort to the bustling markets of Delhi Gate, every corner held a new revelation.

The guide's expertise extended beyond historical facts, as they seamlessly weaved in anecdotes and personal stories that added a unique touch to the tour. Their passion for Lahore's heritage was infectious, and I found myself hanging onto every word.

The tour also catered to diverse interests, covering everything from religious sites like Badshahi Mosque to the vibrant bazaars brimming with local crafts and delicacies. This well-rounded approach ensured that every participant, regardless of their background or preferences, found something to marvel at.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the seamless organization of the tour. The pace was just right, allowing for ample time to absorb the surroundings and take photographs, while never feeling rushed. The group size was intimate, ensuring that everyone could engage with the guide and ask questions.

In conclusion, the "Walled City of Lahore Guided Tour" exceeded my expectations in every way. It provided a unique, immersive experience that left me with a profound appreciation for Lahore's cultural tapestry. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of this magnificent city's history...

I had the privilege of doing a one day Lahore inner city + Wagah border ceremony tour accompanied by Shahid. It was an amazing experience having someone so knowledgeable about the history narrating all the interesting details of the sites visited. It not made the whole tour enjoyable but I came back with a clear understanding of the historical sites and their significance . Shahid's grasp of history showed his love of this fabulous city. He arranged all the details meticulously .The trip started with a Tonga (carriage) trip around the walled city which allowed me the fully immerse myself in the local scene. As a photographer it provided me the opportunity to capture shots that in normal circumstances would have been impossible. Shahid was able to provide access to spots normally closed for public. Shahid was very resourceful and patiently complied with all the request.Being bilingual he is a very versatile tour guide. The second leg of the tour to the Wagah border was also arranged quite efficiently , comfortable car with a driver, entrance to the event & back to Lahore city. As an extra I was dropped off at my home. The price for the whole day tour was very reasonable and was worth every penny spent.I left with very fond memories of this fine day. If you ever find yourself in Lahore & need a guide I would recommend Shahid with out any...

A very informative tour for a first time visitor to Lahore. Shahed had taken care to organise this so that it all went as per plan, the vehicle driven by Mr. Umar was safe. We started in the old town at the Badshahi mosque, and the amazing Lahore fort. The fort and the surrounding area have alot of history and it is great to hear the historical narratives from Shahed. We went to the Laurence Garden which is really beautiful and one could spend a few hours there really! The Wagah border is a spectacle - worth seeing once. The Wazir Khan mosque is a breathtaking, the intricacy of the work is unbelievable! That is another place where one could spend a few hours. Shahed is good at giving you the information you need and then leaving you to experience the ambience of the building/area, which is nice. The hamam in the old city is another lovely place to see. The tombs of Jahangir, Asaf Jah and Noor Jahan are also in the lovely Dilkusha garden where one can spend a few hours! The old city and its havelis are charming. All in all a amazing overview of Lahore, what is doubly interesting is the local connections that Shahed has and taps into, restoration artists, singers, haveli owners in the old town etc - meeting and interacting adds another layer of memory to the experience of...
