ABSOLUTELY DO NOT eat at this trash restaurant, I have a list of complaints although I will save you from most of the small ones due to the fact that quite honestly this restaurant is not worth a whole lot of my time. From the moment I stepped into this restaurant I was not met with even an okay customer service experience, our reservation was not honored even though the tables were clearly ready and we were told to wait 15 minutes (which ended up being 20). Being slightly annoyed by this, I continued to keep an open mind and tried to contain my empty stomach and its groans. Little did I know, I would not be eating for another 2 hours, which would possibly be acceptable at another restaurant but at a pizza place?!?! Totally unacceptable. Our waiter who took our drink orders right as we got there still did not have our drinks out after 20 minutes so I was forced to just take the drinks out of a cooler I found. I was continuously told by the waiter that the pizzas would be ready in 10 minutes..... every 30 minutes for 2 hours. Finally, after much pestering and a small scuffle with the manager half of my pizza arrived. Yes you read right, HALF of the pizza arrived. The pizza wasn't even worth the wait at all, although I am not from Peru and don't know what Peruvian pizza tastes like I am almost positive a pizza should not be sugary. The sauce literally had sugar in it. Even a pasta dish (which should take maybe 10 minutes to make) took longer than an hour. I was then told that our table would get a discount for the horrible service, a glimpse of light through this hellish transaction. The discount was 20% off of 4 drinks. Four. Drinks. Needless to say I will not be eating at this...
Read moreThis delightful restaurant had upstairs seating, but we chose to sit downstairs close to the brick oven. We ordered garlic bread, a specialty pizza, and a Peruvian sour drink (forgot the name of it). The service was slow and the tables were too close together. As the restaurant started to get busy, the waitress had a hard time getting around the seated customers. The food was adequate and the slices of pizza we took to go became a much appreciated breakfast as we were rushing to get to...
Read moreNice place, good (almost over-zealous) service, but the pizza is not my thing: dough and sauce are sweet. Maybe it's how Peruvians like it. Generous toppings, not too much cheese, mushrooms from the can. My biggest issue is the very uncomfortable seating on the top floor - definitely not for people over 1,60m. The only red wine that comes by the glass is sweet, too. Google Maps shows this place to be much further down Tullumayo. It's actually on the corner with Garcilaso, next...
