We were in room 210 which faced a side street. The windows are single pane so this allows for quite a bit of noise. The beds were a bit on the hard side. We did have issues with lighting in the bathroom for some reason. Lights would go out unexpectedly, and not come on again. The housekeepers would fix them in the morning tho, as we didn’t bother with complaining about it. Breakfast was a bit slight, but we made do. We filled up on little croissants and fruit. I did notice that they don’t really refill the breakfast items too quickly however. While we were there they had a sporting team of teenagers there, so once they were finished there was not a lot of anything left...lol.||The positives are that this is a clean, cute boutique style hotel. Your not getting the ritz here. But, your not paying that either. We were gone for most days anyways, only coming back very late in the evening on our three nights here. The staff all seemed very nice and pleasant to deal with. Our shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Check in and out was...
Read moreThis hotel is convenient because it’s close by a lot of places, but the amenities offered is not good. Just got back from a family vacation and the hotel did not live up to its description. I understand it’s a 3 story hotel, but I’ve stayed in 3 star hotels with far better amenities. The WiFi was not good, water pressure was not good. Our shower broke on the second day of our 4 day stay. It was cold in June and they did not offer heaters for us until we asked. House keeping would come to fix the beds but would forget to put certain stuff for us such as soap or toilet paper. I stayed in a 3 bed room and was only left with two sets of towels! Luckily I brought my own towel from home. They offer breakfast but would only refill it once and that was it. Luckily we’d go down to eat breakfast early, around 7 am and a lot of stuff would be gone despite the breakfast being open until 10 am. Would...
Read moreStayed here as part of a G - Adventures tour, prior to visit to Machu Picchu. Room and bathroom is dated and tired. There was no storage in bathroom. On arrival towels and hair drier were stored on top on the toilet !
Safe didn't work, doors didn't close properly to bathroom and no window to outside. There is a mix of internal/external rooms with windows. On this occasion, it was blessing to have an internal room to reduce noise from street and a festival that was taking place.
Positives: Bedding was clean. Room size good for those travelling with luggage. Location was good and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was similar to other hotels I have stayed at here in Cusco (fresh bread, cereal, melon, cheese, meat, egg, coffee/tea etc), but all fresh.
This hotel is ok for those on organised tours/treks and need an over night stay, but not if you are staying...
