We went to the restaurant on the recommendation of friends. It is very close to Ribeira do Porto and we sat on the terrace outside where we could see the river. The service was excellent. They explained to us the concept of smaller dishes, allowing us to try several typical dishes without spending a lot. It's the experience we've always wanted to have in other countries and it's hard to find. In this restaurant it was possible to try several dishes in the same meal. The same happened with wines. We ordered 6 dishes and 2 wine experiences and shared them. And we also tried 2 typical desserts. We can barely handle the amount of food. The concept of smaller dishes cannot be confused with tapas. These are dishes with Portuguese food, but in smaller quantities. As the price is also lower, we ordered a number of meals that we wouldn't order in another restaurant. We recommend it and will...

I feel like this restaurant does get much attention but it definitely should! The food is delicious, very flavorful and the service is great. The prices are reasonable and the tapa style sized dishes make it easier for you to try several. I went the first time with some friends and we had a great time. We tried the cod fish cakes, cured cheese, chouriço and had the cod fish risoto. All great choices. I came back a second time alone and had cod fish cakes, cured cheese, chouriço and I tried the duck risoto which in my opinion is the best I’ve ever had. Last night I brought another friend to try this place, and we had the cod fish in a cream sauce and I made him try the duck risoto. Filipe had been my server twice and the service was outstanding. Love this place, it is my...

I had codfish with cream, Potato soup with Kale and a bread basket. The food was amazing, very tasty and full of flavour. The breads also soft. However, the portions were smaller than expected for the price we paid, especially the codfish which was described as being for two people.

The location is beautiful, with a lovely sunset view that really enhances the experience. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. We waited a long time to be served, and after our meal it took more than 20 minutes to receive the bill. We asked our waitress, who said she would bring it, but she never returned. Eventually, another staff member brought it within a few minutes after we asked again.

I would have second thoughts about coming back to this place because of the...

We were looking for a nice spot to have lunch on a recent visit to the riverfront, and the menu looked interesting so we decided to give it a try. There were a few locals eating there which is usually a good sign! The staff were all very friendly and helpful (especially our server, Yasmim), and there was an English menu (most of the staff also spoke English). The food was delicious and tasted authentic, and it was very filling too (especially the creamy cod). There was plenty of seating inside and a small amount of seating outside too – we were able to sit outside, which was really nice as it was a beautiful day. It was clean and tidy inside and outside, including the toilet at the rear of the restaurant. This is a delightful spot with great staff, and well worth trying out!
