We have been walking around Insadong Culture Street and was looking for a ground floor cafe to watch the world go by. However, most cafes seem to be above ground level so we randomly tried this place. We have not been disappointed!

We ordered a banana pancake to share. My wife had a mint lemonade and I had a passion fruit ade. Service (a single chap) was friendly and efficient. The drinks came within 5 minutes and the (huge!) pancakes a few minutes after.

The drinks were nice and refreshing - just what was needed on a hot day. The pancake dish was huge so we made the right decision to share one order. It was really tasty.

Special shoutout to the WONDERFUL, AMAZING staff in the cafe for keeping and returning the wallet that I lost it there! It was only after a few hours that i discovered my blunder when I was already at Ewha university area. I got the nice people from a hair salon to call Cafe True US to check as that was the place where I last took out my wallet. They immediately confirmed that they had found and kept my wallet! It was a huge relief for me as this was just the second day of my 2 weeks trip in Korea! We stumbled upon this quaint, pretty shop while walking along Insadong.
