The street next to Gyeongbokgung Palace is a lively area with a wide array of restaurants, bars, and hanbok rental shops. Itโ€™s a great spot to explore after visiting the palace. Youโ€™ll find a variety of dining options, from traditional Korean eateries to international cuisine, catering to all tastes and preferences.

The street is also home to numerous bars where you can unwind and enjoy a drink. Additionally, there are several hanbok rental shops, making it convenient to rent traditional Korean attire for a memorable photo opportunity.

One of the best features of this street is its accessibility for tourists. Many shops and signs have pictures and English translations, making it easy to find what youโ€™re looking for. Whether youโ€™re searching for a specific type of food or looking to rent hanbok, navigating this street is straightforward and user-friendly.

Overall, this area provides a vibrant and enjoyable experience for visitors, with plenty of options to enhance your visit to...

A great little lantern alley in Seoul near the palace. With many traditional Korean restaurants and places to satisfy your cravings, itโ€™s a must see experience in the heart of Jongno gu. A favorite of mine is the pineapple bun shop, near the end of the alley on the left hand side. Especially during winter, the buns are warm and prepared with a small piece of butter. Delicious!

Note: It is busier and more shops are open in the evening. The lanterns will light up in the evening hours as well. The best time to visit is after they open from their break which is typically...

It turned out to be a simple homey place with very delicious authentic soups with very kind old lady attendant. The food is very affordable and mild not too spicy. I cannot pin it in Google Map with Korean name but it is located at the very beginning of the alley opposite to Paris Baguette at the corner so you...
