I had expectations for these tapas since I was suggested to go by a person who was born and raised in Madrid. Indeed, it’s very authentic! I loved it. You can literally have dinner just ordering drinks because they serve lots of food too, for every drink you order. Also: every time you order again, they serve you different kind of tapas and this is a very good point because then you can be surprised and try different things. And any tapas we tried was...

I had been looking for something like this for a loooong time! They do tapas how it should be! Order a drink at the bar and you get a small side dish with it (yes free, its a tapa). With every new drink you get you get a different small side dish which makes for a fun night :) its all really tasty and the drinks are not that expesive. I loved the martini there. The waiters are very friendly. You do have to try and get their attention, the restaurant tends...

One of my favourite menú del días in Madrid. It’s a good bit above average price but for me it’s worth it - the food is great! Small menu but normally a fish chicken and pork/beef, something like that. High quality starter too. Also a great place for dobles, one of the rare places where it comes with a plate of food (basic but good volume!) Popular place so good atmosphere. Their sister bar/restaurant is...

This was the first restaurant we went in Madrid after we arrived. It’s very local, the staff don’t speak English so I’m glad that I can practice my shirt Spanish. If you order a glass of drink, it comes with a tapas for free. I love the tapas here! Staff was always very friendly. We visited this place 3 times during 2 days. Will recommend people who are looking for local tapas restaurant!

I really loved it. For each small beer you buy, they give you a good-sized plate of delicious food. It's really very good and I'd certainly recommend. When I went, a 200ml beer of Amstel was 2,25€ and I got a large side plate of paella, then with my next beer, two bits of tortilla on bagette. Not bad at all! Good place to eat and relax on a budget, if you get the caña.
