Pitos Y Flautas seems to be just a step away from being good/great, it was good service from two of the gentlemen, but then two seemed really unbothered by us being there and almost like we were a burden to stay. The food was quite standard, not overly flavourful but not flavourless, this goes for both a calzone and lasagna main meal I know they aren't the most exotic things you can order, but we are playing safe as flying home tomorrow, the lasagna was slightly overcooked on the bottom, a bit stodgy in places and needed salt (more on the salt later) and then covered with a slice of cheese on top which was also sadly a bit flavourless but it was seasoned with herbs, so did give it something. The calzone was well cooked and had a bit more flavour and was more to the liking of what you'd expect, maybe could of done with some garlic butter or some extra sauce to finish off those large crusts. At one point the servers all seemed to suddenly be whisked away to stare at a group of women at the starbucks nextdoor, I did see one take out their phone, not sure what happened next I'll leave that to the imagination. But it seemed like we were a bit of a chore to some of the staff but more welcome than ever to the others so can't really fault it but can mention it here. And finally, such a basic basic thing to get right/wrong but the salt dispenser, it's a hand crank at the table, all well and good but they are using the WRONG SALT, it needs to be rock salt, not sea salt as the sea salt still has moisture, and on our table at least (and the other table I took a salt dispenser from) had this issue. So when cranking it, you get clumps of salt, not a good sprinkling. So if you're reading this review Pitos y Flautas, please change your salt to big ol' dry rock salt and thank me later xox All in all 6.5/10 probably wouldn't come again

Beautiful beach front restaurant Great atmosphere with live singer who set the mood for a relaxing meal. Garlic mushrooms to start, which we shared ,delicious I had tornados fillet steak . Perfectly cooked and rested ,port sauce was awesome as was the Canarian potatoes Alli had pork plank dish that she loved and I helped finish and would agree . No room for dessert but enjoyed the complimentary glass of cava we got with the bill. Will be back again. Worth every cent. After last night we returned today. Somehow it's was just not the same. Our server seemed distracted and not on point compared to last night's excellent service . The food when severed was still excellent. Garlic prawns tonight with bread to soak up all the soggy goodness. My lady had special fish dish loved it. I had plank steak which as nice as it was it needed something. Maybe more peppers and onions with a mushroom sauce instead . No courgettes or aubergine. Let that steak shine it was delicious again.( rested and after last night I asked med + and it was spot on). After last night we were looking forward to a nice glass of cava with the bill but alas not .even tho the table next to us got said cava. I suppose it those little things can turn a good review into a bad one . I still stand over my 5 star for food it was exceptional, but disappointed with the level of service tonight.

Called in without planning after a day at the beach. So thankful we did because if we’d looked at the reviews we probably would have skipped the place an would have missed a fabulous meal and evening. We had the Cava Sangria for drinks and thankfully we decided to skip starters and go straight to mains and shared a chateaubriand. After this meal there was no capacity whatsoever to sample one of their very tempting desserts. The food was fabulous though from experience would recommend a change in how your meat is cooked. We normally go medium rare, but from previous experience we went medium and it was cooked perfectly. The service was great and we tipped accordingly. They really deserved it. The ambience was fabulous with easy listening live music. Comfortable environment temperature wise. Sea front location with fabulous sunset. What more could anyone ask. If anyone doesn’t rate this place 5* I would really have to ask what more would they like or what changes would they make? Personally I don’t see how our evening could’ve been better. Only possible criticism may be the toilets and these were serviceable but not ideal and seem to be shared facilities out of the restaurants control. Thank you for a fabulous meal and evening.

This is an honest review based on my experience today. It's a shame that I've had to rate so low as the food quality was very good. We always eat in the restaurant down the road but today they had a party on so couldn't accommodate us. They recommended this place and admitted to it not being quite to their standard, probably shouldn't have told us to come here at all.

All seemed well then when the food arrived..

Firstly the waiter asked us if we wanted bread while we waited. This never showed! When I mentioned it we also had no apology.

I ordered the steak black and white which clearly states with asparagus however apparently I missed the part on a separate page where it states 'with vegetables'. The menu is clearly labelled per page and in boxes so who would look at another page to see what it comes with when to states what it comes with below the title itself?!

The small bit of meat for €29 arrives with Bell peppers (!). Not your standard vegetables for a steak and I'm allergic to these so had to send it back. No apology but a huff and the waitress then walked off with it for me to have to ask where my food was 15 mins later...

Never was I asked if I have an allergy... when I pointed this out I got a shoulder shrug. Disappointed in the waiter and his professionalism. Ignorance is the best policy I guess! I won't be eating here again and recommend you walk on and try a different venue while they retrain their rude staff (given previous reviews this is an ongoing issue!).

I asked if we could have the drinks removed from the bill for the inconvenience and they did this but I had to push! Defensive and disrespectful suggesting I had to inform of allergies and not them to ask... wh9 puts peppers on with steak as 'vegertables' as this is usually carrots or greens (!)

Oh wait, now they can't do anything with the bill until the manager arrives in 2 hours time LOL do we want to stay so weve been asked if we want to stay and have more food on the house instead?!

Now someone else has come to argue that we are in the wrong and not the waiter! Lol

And they've come back for me. Apparently it says on the first page, in Spanish, that we have to inform the staff of any allergies!!

The waiter hasn't apologised and has walked away shaking his head.

Fortunately a waitress was very helpful and said sorry on his behalf with some encouragement.

As time has gone by and me writing this review I've changed the atmosphere from 5 to 1 star. We were made to feel unnecessarily awkward for their errors.

Is this ill educated staff who need to be sacked...

We wanted to have a good time with our children and grandchild and eat good food but No, this place ruined last night for us, what a disappointment this place is! We got a table very quickly but no service I had to get up to get the waiter and tell him to bring the menu because we had a 1 and 1/2 year old child with us and he needed to get food soon! He came and took our order and we did not need to wait a long time for the starters but after the starters the wait was long, long, long, we tried to wave call and wave and call but no one came but then one came and my daughter asked him to ask how much longer we had to wait for our main courses , he said he was going to check on it but he didn't come back! We were wondering to just leave because the child was tired and hungry and it was cold and they did not want to turn on the heater for us because it was broken and they did not offer to replace it and there we were without a heater with a baby and a pregnant woman! : / Well finally the food came after a long, long, long wait! I got a crispy duck that was like cooked really disgusting, the orange sauce was really bad, the chicken breast was dry and also the chicken with fajitas but the beef steak was good, that is the only positive with this review! I have never received such a terrible service in my life but they never came to check if we wanted new drinks and we never saw the waiter again who took the order, only once a server came to ask if we were OK and wanted some more drinks but we had tried to get attention for a long time but gave up because no one saw us and I think this server saw how annoyed we were that's why he came even if this wasn't his table! We have never not wanted to pay for a dinner before and we have never not given tips but tonight was the night!

If I could give a minus star for food and service I would do...
