Soul Penguin — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Terrible service. Tried this place several times. It takes forever to get the ice cream if you take a seat. Coffee is cold long before you het the ice cream. They mix up even the simplest orders. We ordered 2 coffee, 2 water and 3 (x2 scoup) ice creams) at our last (and final visit).

We got . 1 coffee and 3 water after 15 mins (not even very busy). The missing coffee took 10 mins to arrive.

The ice cream order (almost 30 mins wait) ? 1 correct. 1 wrong, 1 split into 2 orders and the waiter even tried to give us one we knew nothing about. (Prior visit was even more messed up).

The wrong order was not corrected until the others was finished with theirs. This is so weird as you get your ice in seconds if you do «take-out». The bill was wrong as well. Charged 2,95 euros to much. But then their english suddenly vanished. So no chance of correcting the bill.

NO PLACE FOR KIDS as we suddenly was sorrounded by smokers.

Ice is ok though.

Stay away or pick it up at the counter if you must have ice cream...

Poor quality of deserts. I had a tiramisu and Latte machiato. In tiramisu, what was supposed to be mascarpone, was some thin whipped cream. The bottom layer was watery and tasteless. The coffee tasted very poorly as well. My husband had a gelato brioche described as "hot and crispy outside and ice cold inside". As much as it was cold inside because it was ice creams, there was nothing "hot and crispy" about the outside, rather cold and chewy. We were waiting very long for the brioche and when we asked the waitress she said it's because the place is so busy, but since she brought it a minute later I believe they must have forgotten about it and it was waiting somewhere, hence the cold and chewy effect. Ice cream is not bad but service is terrible. I went to have a cake and ice cream with child, and I was asked to preorder from machine. I did it ( seems like reasonable covid measure) and then they said that I must take away as otherwise I should have ordered from table ( they could have said that before right?). They also said that we are not allowed to sit down in table ( all tables were empty) and basically asked us to get out ( as there is construction around it is almost impossible to eat ice cream from cup anywhere ( and that's how my 4 years old child actually lost her ice cream). The main reason I decided to leave review is that they gave me tiramisu in actual cup ... To waste tableware like that is definitely not...
