Soo, from where to start. We choose this restaurant, because of the number of positiv reviews, but unfortunately we didn't have so much luck. First of all we had some tapas, which was very good and then we order a paella with octopus. The paella that we receive was very brown, nothing compers to the pictures from other costumers. We try to discuss about this with one of the waiters and she said to us that the color is from the octopus. Then we started to eat and it tasted burnt. Soo, we tried to tell this, like an advise, to another waiter and she try to apologize with us and offering us a free dessert, but we didn't accept it because the purpose wasn't this. The things until this moment were ok for us. We was thinking that it wasn't our lucky night, but the surprise come with the check... the burnt paella did cost us 92€ :))) ( the price on the menu is 23€/portion and the minim is two portions). When we tried to speak with the third waiter, about this he answered us very angry and disrespectful that we ordered 4 portions of paella. That wasn't truth because we ordered just two, since we already had tapas and we didn't want to eat so much food. Also, near us there were two girls who ordered paella like us and guess what? They had the same portions like us and I don't think they ordered FOUR PORTIONS!!! :))). We laughed about it, we paid it and we had enought money, even if he probably thinks the contrary, since he had that attitude. In conclusion, probably I wouldn't write this review if it wasn't for the last waiter's attitude, but I think all the costumers need the same respect, since we always spoke with respect without yelling at anyone. This is a detail that some of you...
Read moreWhat a great find in Sevilla! We didn’t plan to eat there, but on a hot early summer evening we sat down for a drink and seeing the great food on the tables nearby we decided to have dinner there- it was the best decision ever. We ordered too much food as we couldn’t decide- everything was perfect. Patatas bravas- best ever, grilled octopus, pork cheeks, pizza New York with pastrami and fresh ruccola, burrata with blue tomatoes.. for 4 people- a real treat for the tastebuds. Everything can come in tapas, half or full size- get the tapas size so you can try more on the menu! In our 3 days in Seville, this was the best dinner, even though we dined at 3-4 other very hyped places around the town. Service was very good in the beginning, then it was a bit hit and miss, but probably because the place got very full by 9 pm. Very good and very...
Read moreI believe all the beverages will be good but I personally got a bottle of cava and it was a fantastic compliment to THE most tender octopus I’ve had in my life. The cava cuts through the richness of the truffle mashed potato and creates the perfect bite.
The octopus does get chewier towards the end as it gets thicker but it only serves to let you chew and enjoy the delectable flavor for longer. The octopus tastes a bit of charcoal smoke though I have no idea if that was how it was prepared. Regardless, it was delicious and I would come back for seconds if this wasn’t my last...
