It's a very beautiful building and they remodeled in a good way to preserve the major vibes of the original architechture. You must take a look at the small book they publish by themselves because that small book may guide you through the whole building with its background and history.

If you love the historical stories around DaDaoChung area, you will enjoy this bookstore (building) very much. And I noticed that the founder is very brave for his book selection. You can totally sense the owner's personality through the choice of the books. Me and my friends found very rare books and magazines that we couldn't find in other bookstores in Taiwan (not even Eslite). Well done!! The founder is a dreamer!!

I might have found my favourite bookstore in Taipei. Beautiful wooden furniture inside with a cosy atmosphere, the books are also well-arranged with interesting categorisations (I love how the ground floor is catered to only books about Taiwan!) The café at the back of the store is also a lovely place to rest and read at, with a wide selection of books about food and lifestyle there. Do not miss out on the display of old bricks and features of the store’s long-history by the stairs when you make your way upstairs!
