My wife and I came here last year, looking forward to bring our family here to eat the pizza and pasta.
We are finally here today but we were so disappointed with the pappardelle ragu pasta. When asked about the change in taste, the staff said that they had changed the ingredients that is why the taste is now different. (There are some green stinky beans inside, pasta overcooked, the duck meat used to be shredded meat but now it is some kind of minced/grounded meat)
We had a hard time trying to eat it, didn't plan to ask for a change at first. Thought that we could just eat and get over it, but it was to the extent where we can't eat at all therefore we seek for the staff's attention.
The staff (Bow) said that we had "already" eaten the food so it is against the rule to change it, BUT obviously we have to eat it to know that it doesn't taste normal. Right? Look at the photo one of the plates is still full, my girl said if she continue eating she gonna puke.
Later on the staff came and told me that they can only offer a 10 percent discount for the pasta "only", How insincere is that?!. You rather not change just a plate of pasta for us but rather give us 10percent off but, only for the pasta and not the total bill.
The thing is I've been recommending friends and family to try Peppina when they come to Bangkok. Especially our kids who waited for this so called tasty meal. Which they were probably very - disappointed.
Edited- There was also an incident whereby my daughter drank her mineral water and left it on the table, the staff came and spoke to us in an unpleasant way "hey, noo.. you cannot bring this and put on the table" She then took the bottle and threw it away without asking. We were kind of shooked.
Understanding that there is a new branch elsewhere, there used to be quite a number of friendly staff around which I remembered, that was how impressed I was during the first visit. Which made me so dissatisfied on...

Despite the restaurant not being full, we were seated extremely close to other diners, with barely any space between tables. It felt cramped and uncomfortable right from the start.
I ordered the 417 pizza, The Duke, and calamari, and asked if all the items could be brought out together. The server assured me they would — but the calamari arrived first, and that was the last we saw of our server until the end of the meal. No one checked in to ask how things were going, and the overall service felt inattentive.
The complimentary bread was tough and tasted stale, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The calamari was only half-decent, and the soggy tomatoes mixed in didn’t help — they were flavorless and unnecessary, making the dish watery and unappealing.
I was holding out hope that the pizza would redeem the meal, but it ended up being the biggest letdown. Both pizzas were undercooked, with soggy bottoms and sauces that were thin and watery. The 417 in particular had a rancid, overpowering anchovy taste that reminded me of marinated fish sauce. Definitely not balanced or enjoyable.
Throughout our visit, the manager seemed more interested in casually patting people on the back and wandering around than addressing guests who were clearly trying to get attention. It gave the impression of poor leadership and lack of care. To top it off, I still had some Coke left in the can, but it was thrown out by a server without asking. When we got home and opened the takeout box, the leftover pizza had just been tossed in carelessly. We had planned to give it to our dogs — but even they deserved better.
It’s really upsetting when you go to a restaurant that you think it’s fancy or expensive and it ends up not even decent but in...
