I have been traveling to Thailand before and have had suits made in Thailand in the past as well. Those suits lasted over 20 years and were very good quality, so when we started planning to make a family trip to Thailand, we thought about getting some suits made for our sons. We were initially approached by Sam’s brother on Khao San road - not the place I would have thought of getting a suit made, but a quick google search showed that Boss Tailor got a great reviews, so we decided to take the plunge. My experience with Sam and his brother have been very good overall. I would classify myself as someone who knows more than the average person about suits and I do own and enjoy some fancier varieties (fabric from Italy, hand made in New York), but I am no suit connoisseur. From what I know, they definitely know their stuff and make very good recommendations for colors and styles in a very professional manner. A lot of suits in North America these days are assembled and made with fabric from Malaysia and generally this area of the world - something to keep in mind if you are worried about getting a suit made in Thailand. One thing that really sets Boss Tailor apart (and something I think is hard to find these days) is the customer service. Sam was available to answer any questions I had via WhatsApp, which was amazing. It gave me time to think about things and get all of my questions answered. To top things off, Sam drove the suits to our hotel for the initial fitting and final fitting (2 separate trips) which saved us having to spend 2 half days of our vacation traveling back to his shop - this is a huge deal and really helped us to maximize our vacation time in Thailand. In the end, I was so happy with the experience that I ordered another suit, vest/tie set and tuxedo right before I left. Sam is mailing these to me in Canada when they are done. I will be sure to update my review when I receive them, so that everyone will know how the remote ordering process goes (if you are considering doing the same). I hope this review helps you with your decision - in my opinion a suit is one of the best souvenirs and best value items you can get from Thailand.

UPDATE: The suit, vest, shirt and tux arrived in a surprisingly small package. For those items I had to pay $52.10 CAD for import and duties. The Shipping worked out to $114 CAD, but was priority air (DHL when it hit the ground in Canada). So you need to factor in those costs if you are thinking of having things shipped.

All that aside; Sam came through with the shipping (even though I paid the full amount for the suit, vest and tux before I left). I have worn both suits now (I brought one home with me and shipped the other) and have had compliments both days - they look fantastic. The quality seems very good - although the true test will be over time. The shirt looked so good that my wife told me I wasn't allowed to wear it unless she was with me : ). I am already planning on placing another order from Canada to see how that goes. I'm good for a while, but maybe after another 6 months or so, I'll try doing a whole order from Canada and then report back.

Would totally recommend getting a suit from Boss Tailor while you are in Thailand - it's an...

I recently had my wedding suit made with them, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very first visit, they impressed me with their professionalism, friendliness, and excellent communication—they speak very good English, which made everything so easy and smooth.

The team took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted and guided me with expert advice. They measured me with great precision, ensuring every detail was perfect. The craftsmanship is outstanding—the suit fits me flawlessly, feels incredibly comfortable, and looks absolutely sharp. The quality of the fabric, the stitching, and the attention to detail truly make them stand out as one of the best in the market.

What I appreciate most is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They are patient, helpful, and clearly passionate about their work. You can tell they genuinely care about delivering the best possible result.

I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a perfectly tailored suit, whether for a wedding, a special event, or even professional wear. They are by far the best in the business, and I will definitely return in the...

My partner and I got the best suits and jackets here. My partner got two jackets and I got two suits, Mr Raj was so easy to work with, very professional. Did not seem at all fazed by us being a queer couple. When he was taking our measurements, he made sure to ask how we wanted everything to fit, I was particularly worried that he would make me a ladies suit with flared pants and cinched waist, he reassured me that it would be a men’s suit cut, and he absolutely delivered. I have two beautifully fitting suits now, very androgynously styled, and perfectly tailored to my body. When we initially came back to try on the suits, the fit in our jackets were a little bit off. At no point did he pressure us to take the jackets as-is, instead he had them altered overnight, and then PERSONALLY DELIVERED THEM TO OUR HOTEL to save us the trip back. I will be getting clothes made Here every time I come back...

Amazing tailor shop in Bangkok located on Khao San Rd. I come to Thailand yearly and every time I have suits made. This was by far the best experience I have had and will return to this shop. Incredible attention to detail with measurements, style, and adjustments. Ended up ordering an additional suit for my son and some extra shirts. They even made sure I would have a way to order from back in the states.
