I've been here for a dozen times when I had a internship in Thailand for 6 months. And as always, one thing that Khao San is unique, is because no matter how drunk you are and you had your valuable things with you, it would never get lost or taken away.. One time, I guess that would be my 2nd to the last time in Khao San, and because I will be going back to my hometown, I get drunk like no end. And as I mention that this place is safe, my friend who's with me assisted me saying we will be going back to our home now. I didnt even know that my phone was left in the table. Remember I was drunk. My friend assisted me outside then a thai guy went running to us saying if the phone that we left in the table was ours, and then my friend opens it and then show it to me, luckily even though Im drunk I can open my phone. As I unlock it my friend thanks the guy and then we went home (PS. My friend tells me everything, since I dont even remember what happen that time). I told her I pay already and I can show her with who (hard one there are many) she didn't actually listen that I didn't want to have problem and went to straight to get security and dragged me to the bar. I told again I paid already but she didn't believe me so I paid a second time just to finish the problem and go back to my friends. Later she came back to me with a free beer and said sorry for the mistake. It's okay to do mistakes. But if I try to be nice and solve the mistake you shouldn't be so aggressive to your customers.
The rest is fine and it's a cool bar to have some drinks...
