I am very saddened to have had such a bad food experience since I had very high expectations after reading the reviews. I'm vegan and I was excited to try the vegan Iskender Kebap and have some side dishes& a dessert as well. None of the side dish (celery, kisir etc), and the dessert (pumpkin pie) were available. Then I went for the vegan iskender and what I received was a complete disappointment. They put some seitan or tofu slices over dry bread (pide), and that was it. The tomato sauce and the vegan yoghurt were served in miniature heart shaped bowls. If you look at the picture in their menu, they serve it with grilled green pepper and tomatoes, none of them were present on my dish. Moreover, it's not about how the seitan or tofu tasted like; since I'm vegan, I never compare the taste to the original food. But the dish was so plain, so dry and had nothing to do with the traditional Iskender kebap dish. If tourists have no idea about this dish, they could assume that it is mediocre. But it should be served with a lot of tomato sauce on top and also melted margarine (of course it can't be butter). Overall, I paid 148 TL for a very boring dish, actually it's hard to call it one. The fact that they didn't have any side dish for dinner is also a big no-go. Very disappointed,...
Read moreI stayed in Antalya for over a month after a long overdue holiday. I tried many restaurants, different street foods and with a plethora of choices that tasted so good you’d think it was a hard choice to pick the best of the lot. But alas because of this establishment, my choice was made easy. From the get go, the service was amazing. The host and his serving staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They treated us excellently and catered for our various needs. We were out celebrating so we went all out with our food choices. For starters we had sarma, eggplant meze, hummus and delicious fresh bread, kiymali borek, a lovely garlic sauce and some bean stew. For the mains we had islim kebab, Dana ciger, hunkar begendi, firinda tavuk patates. We finished it off dessert with findikli roll and tahanli kabak tatlisi and some Turkish tea. The food was delightful and amazing. I have dined in numerous places across the world including Michelin star establishment but no place has beaten the taste and warmth of the food we had here. A...
Read moreI am thrilled to write this review about my recent dining experience at a restaurant in the Coast of Antalya. It was hands down the best homemade meal we had during our entire trip to Turkey. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!
The restaurant's atmosphere was clean and pleasant, with a cozy patio and relaxing music that made us feel like we were in the middle of a garden, despite being in the heart of the city. We were so impressed with our first visit that we returned on the last day of our trip for more.
The food was simply delicious, and what's more, it was incredibly affordable. The restaurant is run by a lovely lady who is super friendly and hospitable, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Overall, I would rate this restaurant 10 out of 10. The food was top-notch, the atmosphere was inviting and clean, and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Coast of Antalya and looking for a delightful...
