We booked online a very competitive priced trip to the desert as part of our trip to Dubai. On the agreed day and time a fabulous black steed ( Nissan Armada) arrived to whisk us off into the afternoon guided by Mubashir at the reigns.

We traveled in comfort to our first stop where we were assaulted with temptations of gifts and food at a store where we took a break for five minutes. We weathered this storm and continued our journey. Our champion supplied us with thirst quenching beverages so we would not wilt in the days heat.

Next stop was at the site of at least 1000 various off road vehicles all converged where the occupants were baring thier off road abilities on various quads and sand buggies. We also joined the gang of about 60 criss crossing a large open piece of scrub land. No helmets or safety briefing required, we were all experts.

Then it was off to begin the bashing. When we arrived at the dunes we had to swop vehicles and driver as it required a specialist trained in the ability to drive a off road vehicle up and and down dunes while attempting to flip it but only using one hand as the other had to be free to receive phone calls at a moment's notice. Your not really any good at this unless you have as many distractions as possible.

We then arrived upside down at the camp and another form of travel came into view. The age old ship of the desert - camels. We queued to await our turn but not before a family of 19 took photos of every angle conceivable of a camel.

It was then time to enter the citadel to enjoy foods and entertainment. We opted for the VIP area - they say do as you know. Here we could have immediate access to food and drink while the weary ravel below our slightly elevated seats looked up and salivated as we tucked into our meals.

We were well looked after with many opportunities to purchase an array of goods. We bought jewellery, photos, desserts and even tried to buy a Falcon but alas it would have never fit in the checked in luggage.

While all of the above went on we were also well entertained from various forms of dancing including bellies, twirlies and burnies.

After all of this we were then brought back to our black steed and transported back to our humble abode.

We were very well looked after and had an amazing day. Could not recommend the services of this company as they seem to us the experts in this field and when it comes to having the best experience you need...

I booked the Desert Safari tour which includes pick up and drop off, dune bashing, a short camel ride, sand birding, a dance and fire show, small Henna art, and food and drinks. The ATV riding was an additional payment.

Raja picked us up at 4:15 and we headed to the safari area. We stopped at a store and were able to purchase clothing and head coverings. I got a head covering and coconut. Raja purchased some water for us and we headed to the ATV riding location. My group got in a four by four and a photographer came out to snap our photo. I took a photo with a falcon (20 AED) and got a chain made with my name written in Arabic. We then headed to the safari site and switched vehicles and drivers. Our new driver drove us to the camel and barbecue area and dune bashed along the way. That was a thrilling experience. When we arrived to the camp site our photos were taken and we went to ride the camels.

The camel guide was rude and impatient. The ride was a nice experience though it didn’t last long, maybe one to two minutes max. We walked in a small circle and got off. I was scared that I’d fall, because my camel’s saddle kept shifting. It did the same with my friend, so we assumed it wasn’t placed properly. The camels were also a bit grumpy, possibly tired of working.

We passed on sand boarding, because it wasn’t working well for the others. I was told by a friend that it’s best for small children because the weight of adults pressed against the tires causes friction with the sand, ultimately stopping you.

When we got inside the camp site, we paid 50 AEDs each to sit a a table and be served. The tour included a free self-serving seat on pillows on the ground. We were given boxes with our food and requested more when needed. Drinks were also brought to us and some dessert. The food was flavorful and nice. They also gave us a lot of food, so we weren’t able to finish it.

There were three dancers and one fire dancer. The entertainment was nice. There was also a lady producing henna art, the trip includes a small hand design.

I really enjoyed this tour ans Raja’s hospitality. Raja made sure that we got deals and were taken care of. I highly recommend booking with Luxury Tours and requesting Raja. I’ll be back!

Note: the falcon photo was cheaper at the ATV site than...

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I believe the way their tour is advertised is disingenuous and I am extremely unhappy with the service. Our driver Mubashir was polite but not willing to speak to us or make any conversation. He was very reluctant to answer questions and eager for us to leave each section. At one point he put the music on while we asked him a question and pretended not to hear us. Furthermore the so called short camel ride lasted a grand total of 15 seconds as I timed it. The dune bashing was a measly 10 minutes, not the required 15 to 20 minutes. Whilst I appreciate we had the simpler package, the actual site was poorly run with staff that were visibly angry if you said no to something they were selling. Then being almost forced to pay an extra 50 dirhams per person to sit in the luxury section as we were told we will have to fight with 400 other people if we stay in our section, was the last straw. Those were the words uttered disdainfully by your the staff who just wanted to make more money really. When we said we will stay in tje section we paid for, he rolled his eyes and walked away. We did not stay for food , I was so disgusted by the poor attitude, the frankly dangerous playground and awful attitudes that we decided to leave. Mubashir was thrilled with with this as he clearly didnt enjoy his role and finally decided to ask us why we were leaving 15 mins into our journey home. When I proceeded to explain the issues we have, he said we should have made him aware. I pointed out that he was rather unavailable and reluctant from what I had seen and I found him a poor customer service representative who did not engage with us at all.

I complained to the company who refused to take me seriously and I didn't expect anything else to be honest. I would choose a company who may have a higher price point if you are looking for one. This company are devoid of any customer service experience and actually do not care about the...

Mr. Afzal made our desert safari amazing! His driving skills are awesome, the whole experience was safe, thrilling, and so much fun. On top of that, it was cost-saving with the best ride — truly worth it! I recommend to try with him
