Unfortunately the stay we were looking forward to turned out to be a disappointment. Upon arrival we got a wrong room - not sure if this is the issue of of the hotel itself or of how booking.com (through which we booked) forwards the information to the hotel, but this happened, however, was quickly sorted out.
Also upon arrival we were informed that the hotel pool was closed for the entire duration of our stay - this was a huge letdown, as we booked the hotel taking into account also the pool and nice views of the city from it. More importantly, the hotel did not inform us in advance about the change to their offer. A few days later we discovered, by a total coincidence, that it was possible to use the pool of a neighbouring hotel - however, again the staff of the hotel did not inform us about this and did not check the opening hours of that second pool, so we went there only to discover it was closed.
If you book a room with the creek and golf course view, remember that it might be a a bit loud (you will hear this especially at nights) - the hotel is located just next to a highway and even in the higher floors you might be bothered by the noise when trying to fall asleep. This might also be an issue if you want to relax on the terrace of the hotel restaurant located in the 2nd floor.
Another issue of the hotel was the canteen/restaurant where the breakfast was served. Literally every single day of our one-week stay the hotel changed the arrangement of the buffet and how to get specific dishes from the staff members. I of course understand that changes might be due to the ongoing pandemic, but after almost a year of the crisis, the hotel should have figured out the most efficient way to serve breakfasts by now. The breakfast itself is, unfortunately, also a matter of complaint, as the dishes are mainly a mix of Pakistani-Indian cuisine with very few Arabic dishes.
In addition to the above, there is no obvious way to avoid changing towels every day. In such a hot country where water should be treated as the most valuable resource, the hotel does not allow guests to inform that they are fine with not washing their towels with this high regularity.
Finally, there also little issues like no power outlet adapters for travellers from other countries, but fortunately there are at least USB ports.
On the positive side, the view from the creek/golf course rooms is beautiful. The proximity of the metro station will save you the necessity of taking a cab every single time, but nonetheless the hotel is a bit far away from all tourist attractions.
All in all, I do not think the hotel was wort the money spent and I will possibly avoid booking any of the Aloft chain hotels...
Read moreTitle: Worst Hotel Experience Ever - Zero Stars If Possible
If I could rate Aloft Creek Hotel in Dubai as zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, with every aspect of my stay falling way below any basic standard of hospitality. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing.
The staff here, especially Sahil and, Ramadan, could not have been less helpful. Their attitudes were shockingly rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. They acted like they were doing us a favor by even talking to us, and any small request was met with eye-rolls and condescension. It was clear they had no interest in providing anything resembling decent customer service.
This hotel does not meet basic cleanliness standards. The rooms were dirty, with visible dust, and it was clear that housekeeping was not a priority here. From stained sheets to unclean bathrooms, the lack of hygiene was unacceptable.
This place felt cheap and poorly managed. Instead of addressing any concerns, staff were unhelpful, and at times outright dishonest. It was shocking to see such low standards from a supposedly reputable hotel.
Save your time, money, and sanity and look elsewhere for accommodation. This place will only ruin your experience in Dubai. Aloft Creek is hands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
I recently stayed at Aloft Creek Hotel for a week-long professional meeting, and I am deeply disappointed with the experience. The behavior of the check-in staff member, Ramadan, and Sahil from meetings management was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Ramadan’s treatment of me and my team was not only unfriendly but felt intentionally obstructive, causing unnecessary delays and embarrassment in front of our international guests. Sahil was equally uncooperative, adding to our difficulties and making our event unnecessarily stressful.
On a more positive note, the lower-grade staff, such as helpers and kitchen employees, were polite and did their jobs well, offering a small silver lining amidst an otherwise dismal experience. However, the hotel facilities were unclean, far below even basic standards.
Given the importance of our event, we expected a much higher level of hospitality and service. Unfortunately, the negative interactions with key staff members and the lack of cleanliness made our stay incredibly challenging. I cannot recommend this hotel for any kind stays, and I hope that management addresses these...
Read moreI, along with my family members, visited Dubai from 03.03.2025 till 09.03.2025. I stayed at Hotel ALOFT DUBAI CREEK, Baniyas road, deira, Dubai. A tripple bed room, (room no. 633), with buffet breakfast (complimentary) and buffet dinner (on payment basis), was booked, (vide booking reference/confirmation number Y491XR), in advance and full payment was made.
But on arrival, we found no vegetarian dish or main course in the dinner buffet and on complaint, only arabian naan was served, and one dish was prepared, with non veg flavour in that. On our inability to consume the same, Hotel staff Mr. Reddy, expressed their un-ability to do more than that, and added, as per hotel policy, they can not provide the proper vegetarian meal on even rest of our days of our stay.
Finding non-veg flavour in the dish, we could not consume the food and left the dining hall and brought the matter into the notice of Ms. Nella, an officer on the reception as well as, our tour booking agent in India. Our agent told us that he will take up the matter with the management and assured us for a refund of our money paid for dinners, and suggested us to take the dinner out side the hotel on payment basis. Very next day also, we took our dinner outside the hotel on payment basis, and brought the fact in the knowledge of hotel staff, Mr. Reddy and Ms. Nella.
It was on third day, when I received a message from my tour booking agent to contact Mr. Umer Khalid and Mr. Veeto, the officers of hotel, and to find a solution. Although, Mr. Umar khalid informed us that as per hotel policy, their should be atleast 23 vegetarian dishes in a dinner buffet, but the kitchen staff could not show us the 2nd vegetarian dish in the buffet. After a detailed discussion the Hotel hardly agreed to provide only 2-3 vegetarian dishes along with 1-2 vegetarian breads daily, so as to provide us a bare minimum course.
Rest of the days, finding no other feasible way out to this problem, we had to consume this minimum possible menu and checked out on 09.03.2025.
It is my request to hotel management to mention the fact of their un-ability of providing the proper vegetarian food on and at proper plateform/s so that the concerned guests may come to know this fact, before making...
