Royal Continental Hotel — Hotel in Dubai

Hotel: locates in Deira close to deira cirty center and by walk to metro startion takes like 10’. Reservation: I don’t know why the invoices in Dubai are issued without tax and tourist tax. I find it very stupid, because in invoice issued to you via hotelwebsite states that the remaining balance of invoice is zero, but when you arrive you should pay for this and that (see pic). Rooms: well I booked two normal rooms.they were ok and the safe is big enough for laptops ( I had 2 laptops 13,5” and I could put both in safe plus other valuable things). Room size average. Bathroom: Stupidest design I have ever seen. There is a glass panel which I have no idea why it is builded. If you see the pictures there is a gap between bathtub and Glas which results water to be trapped between glas and tub on the ground and enerywhere gets wet. The water temperature is not constant so it takes 10 more minutes for shifting the temperatures during showering. Height of the shower head is about 1,80 meters so if you are 1,80 you will not pass under it. funny... Fitness: very good instruments from Technogym that cover full body. My only problem was the fitness coach who flirts with hotel guests in the gym and warming up without towel sweating on every instruments. Swimmingpool: Ok but not ideal for sunbathe due to tall buildings around. Breakfast: fair for 4 star hotels and very kind staff. However, one stuff turns the Breakfast buffet light off 10’ before 10:30 which I find very rude and misbehaving! Cleanliness: Rooms and Hotel very clean. everywhere...

From the moment we arrived, every member of the team has been professional, courteous, friendly, and incredibly helpful. On our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Raghda, who offered us complimentary drinks and a discounted breakfast rate. She was not only professional but also a truly delightful person to interact with—such a great first impression of the hotel. Good luck and all the best to you Raghda.

On the day of check-out, I had a concern regarding the weight of our checked-in bags. I spoke to Yapu at the front desk, who immediately arranged for Sharath to bring the bags down and have them weighed, which really put me at ease. It was a great example of seamless customer service and strong teamwork. Thank you both.

Although we didn’t have the chance to meet Ehab Melika in person, I wanted to commend the entire team you lead. You have a fantastic group of individuals who genuinely care about the guests and go above and beyond to make the stay pleasant.

Rude staff/ no hospitality/ Don't book because if you're slightly late they will cancel your room without notice

Booked this hotel for the 7th but messaged the property to let them know I will arrive at 3am on the 8th. Unfortunately my flight was delayed by an hour so I arrived at 4 am. when I got to the hotel nobody came to collect my bags which I found odd as normally in dubai they will promptly assist you. So I take my bags inside and the reception staff says "your booking has been cancelled you will have to leave" at first I thought there was a mistake he was blaming booking.com but when I called booking.com they told me the hotel had cancelled it. Anyway I offered to pay extra for that night and stay for the rest of the week but the receptionist insisted he couldn't allow me to stay at the hotel and I had no where else to go. He kept saying you have to leave now you can't stay here. No hospitality at all from this member of staff who claims to be the manager I was so tired I forgot to get his name. I wasn't given an apology wasn't even given water when I asked politely. I travel to dubai regularly and have never been treated like this ever. Avoid this hotel...
