Bath Botanical Gin Distillery and Herbal Apothecary — Local services in Bath

Nice shop and products, but I wish they would stop insisting on placing an A-board outside (see photo). Based on the guidelines published by the council, it is prohibited because the pavement there is too narrow (approximately 1.1m). The minimum of 1.5m should be allowed for the safety of pedestrians. They must realise that hanging the A-board with a piece of string does not stop it from being a hazard for the passers-by, especially the elderly and the disabled. For instance, the wheels on their rollator walking frame/stroller/shopper, etc, could easily get caught by the legs on the board, causing them to trip and fall. Absolutely amazing staff in the Distillery and over e-mail!

Every visit we make i am always so pleased by how kind and helpful the staff are (they are always willing to make more of their seasonal cocktails or create something through suggestions)! I e-mailed the distillery also, for a specific bottle of Gin they don’t advertise online, and they shipped it to me the following week without hesitation, Paul was amazing!

Small but perfectly formed gin shop and distillery. Not only is the gin made locally (in the shop in fact), but it is also really lovely gin. The No 1 gin is a delicious London Dry gin, and the derivative products (fruit infused gin) are all made with locally sourced ingredients. They even do a Triple Sec (will try that next time)....
