I telephoned on the 13/2/21 at 17:22 to make an order. The customer service representative who answered the telephone sounded like she did not work there. After asking about NHS discount she didnāt know and said ācould be 20 or 50%, I am not sureā I then asked her to find out please and she came back and said 30%. She didnāt even have the initiative to find out herself, I had to probe her to do so. Then she would not accept my order over the phone and said I have to come to the store and order and then collect the order. I was implying due to corona virus, surely less contact time would be better than standing in the store for 15 mins while my pizza was made. She then said to call back in 5-10 minutes so that I can place my order or to do it online. At this point I was frustrated and said I want to speak to the manager and she replied saying the manager was not in. I asked her what her name was and she said I cannot give this to you. I then did not place an order at my local store (Selly Oak) and drove 15 minutes to another store (Oldbury) who took my order over the phone, advised me which deals were the best and worked out which options are cheaper for my order. Fantastic customer service at Oldbury, Birmingham. The Selly Oak Dominoes is my local store and I have just moved in to the area where I would be ordering regularly but it seems that I will not be going here again due to the terrible customer service.
Customer service points to improve: Train the staff to know the discounts and deals Allow ordering over the phone (just like every other store does!) Staff should give their name when asked to do so ā this removes any form of responsibility from the person at question If the manager isnāt present, they should offer an alternative method of contact like an email address.
These simple things will improve your business , make you more money and retain your customers. The above is really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I rang dominoes to say I accidentally put my number in wrong can you give him the right one and tell him to call when he arrives. The delivery driver then calls me shouting at me and saying I need to walk to where he is to pick my food up. This was at 10pm at night in the dark and he was a ten minute walk away from house. Isn't that the whole point of a delivery service to deliver? I then proceed to tell him No he has to come to me that's his job. When he arrives at my door honking his horn like a boy racer. I've never met someone so aggressive in all my life, he came into my house kept his foot by the door so I couldn't shut it then has a go at me in my face swearing and shouting for me giving them the wrong number and not walking to him. I then say it was a mistake which I called and rang to apologise, he shouldn't be speaking to me like this. Where's the customer service? I then tell him I have a camera on the side of my house and I'm going to send it to customer services and show them his behaviour. Then he slams the food down on the floor why ripping his coat of banging on the door getting closer into my face. To which I then tried to close the door and lock it. I've already logged it with the police. I tried to call dominoes back for the next hour coincidentally they didn't pick up. This dominoes is the worst one alongside Kings Heath the customer service from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm normally a fan of dominoes but not this store.... Considering the first order was being delivered about a 2 minute drive from the store (but was rather drunk and didn't fancy the walk!) there really is no excuse for the delivery to take 2 hours to arrive... Frankly I just refused the order because it was cold at this point. Several months later I thought I'd give them a second chance and decided to collect. Within 15 minutes it said it was ready for collection and I arrived promptly after and the order still wasn't ready so I had to stand around for another 5 minutes for the garlic bread (which is fine..! I used to work in the industry so I know we're chasing stats). However the staff couldn't find the rest of my order - after checking the shelves, walking out the back, checking the ovens and being utterly puzzled he found a pizza in a delivery bag which he pulled out and handed to me. I was in a hurry (hence I collected) so I quickly rushed back to the house to find the pizza was very old, the greese had absorbed through the pizza base, the cheese was hard, the pizza was stone cold.... Now it reminds me of my uni days where we were eating the day befores pizza and considering it was only 11AM when I ordered I am guessing this was a pizza from the day before..... The place is disgusting so avoid this place if you don't want a...
