Avoid this garage at all costs. Took my Subaru Impreza WRX in for a load of work totalling £5,500. Upon arrival of collecting the car the engine was running which i thought was a red flag. When i started the car up the next day there was a loud knocking noise from the engine (which funnily enough disappeared once the car had warmed up) hence why when i collected the car from them it was already running. After some investigation by some actual decent and trustworthy mechanics we found that JWORX had snapped a few bolts in the engine as well as some other shocking work. Please avoid this company. I've known about Jworkx since Legends were based in front so I'd no apprehension about using their services as many times they'd be recommended! Recently our family car suffered a clutch failure, recovery brought us home but left our car with us . Exceptional service from Jworkx who organised a pick up for us and proceeded to diagnose the problem once they had the car. Unfortunately for us it was a worst case situation but our service man called to tell me before he ordered everything needed. The car was fixed and ready within two days. I think if you have a big job (costing loads of dosh) then you might get decent service. I booked my car in to look at the faulty switch on my car. Gavin said he wouldn’t even look at it because…..I suppose it was too much trouble. He then said the gas struts don’t need changing - without even looking at them (that would mean leaving his desk.)
