I wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars. The escape room is great fun for families. A second escape room is in the process of being made. Will be booking straight up. Also check out the VR room upstairs. Great games up there. Well worth the visit. Now for the staff.. I've been to a lot of places but the staff here without a doubt stand out for their exceptional customer service. Must give a special shout out to Will who manages the escape room. I emailed him prior to our visit to explain I will be attending with a boy who has ASD and may feel a bit anxious. On arrival Will was there to personally greet us. He was so engaged with him, kind, patient, brilliant that he put him at ease immediately. Even when we didn't escspe and the child became upset, Will was immediately at hand to sooth and reassure him. The boy took such a liking to him that we came back the following week. Will greeted us like old friends and when we managed to escape this time, the first person the boy ran to to celebrate with was him. A rariety to say the least. This just sums up the service here. Will even took time out of working hours to check in with us. The child sent Will some lovely messages thanking him for the day and said it was the 'best day ever' We will be straight back when new escape rooms open. Look forward to seeing all the team again...
Read moreWe did this room yesterday. There were five of us including a 7 and 11 year old. It was the first escape room any of us had done and I think was a great room to start with. Slightly shorter time of 40 mins, but this suited us with the kids. It was also cheaper than other rooms I had looked at, so the shorter time was reflected in the cheaper price. We all agreed it was a really fun experience and the theming was good. We were all involved in solving some of the clues one way or another and our children loved putting the codes into the locks and finding which keys worked. We did use a few hints just to keep it ticking along so the 7 year old didnât get bored, but otherwise we would have used some of the time to spend a bit longer working a couple of the puzzles out. The hints were all accessed via the getaway driver on WhatsApp which worked really well with the theme of the experience. It was also useful to have a phone to use the torch on it as the room was quite dark and we needed it to see some of the lock numbers. Overall a really fun experience and we have already agreed we are going to try another escape room...
Read moreWe booked this with a Red Letter day voucher I'd been given as a gift, for our family of 4, including our 2 children, ages 14 and 11. We really did not know what to expect as it was our first escape room. When arriving, we found it to be a very quirky and unique bar. We made ourselves known to the bar staff, where we were directed out to a table in the garden that had been reserved for us. The host then came round to find us and took us round to the start of the vault where she set us up with Terrance on the WhatsApp, this was easy enough and was used to start us of with the clue we needed to get into the vault. It could also be used to get hints for other clues should you need them. The puzzles were fun and all the family was able to do their bit as a team to work them out. The host popped in a few times to make sure we were ok. We managed to finish it in time with 6 minutes left and we all came out feeling very pleased with ourselves. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and thanks to the staff for an enjoyable and...
