Popped into London Road for the 1st time in years, couldn't believe the way it had altered. So glad though to see this familiar shop still trading. It was 9am and the shop I went into London Road for didn't open until 9:30. I remember my Mum and Dad shopping there and with a spare 30 minutes I thought i'd take a (sorry at the pun!!!) a 'butchers' in there.....To be honest being a Supermarket shopper I was seriously amazed at the quantity and quality of what was on offer and I kicked myself for never having gone before....8 Steaks, Four MASSIVE beef sausages and Two (seriously big) pork chops...as of Friday 7th Oct '22 cost me £14.99....A supermarket would have easily been DOUBLE that...Two weeks of meals all sorted. I've been using this butcher's for 30 years and my mum and nan used them before me. They are great guys always giving me the best deals and the steaks are better than the steakhouses in Brighton I get £25 worth of fillet steak and get a perfect cut which I get around 25 portions of amazing steak out of it. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide selection of meats, organs and bones. Brilliant deals and the offerings here are delicious, particularly recommend the Venison sausages. Wrapped a pheasant from here with their bacon and roasted it and it tasted sublime. Lovely stuff.

Forget the supermarket rubbish, support small local businesses and pop down here for good quality cuts at...
