Since I started school here, Red Chilli has been my go-to spot for authentic Nigerian food. I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious.
Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. Not only is the food spot on, but the portions are generous, so you always get a satisfying meal for a good price.

Read moreI love it here, I woke up late so I decided to start the day on waakye (a Ghanaian dish with spaghetti, rice and plantains, in lovely, spicy, tomatoey sauce with an egg and a chicken drumstick, served on a big leaf) After all of these years looking around Bev Road, I then found out it was in a hairdressers, of all places.

The food is great and really affordable, and the owner even brought out some other dishes for us to try without charging.
Most dishes come with a serving of rice and plantain and are very filling.
The glutinous rice dish looked like the most fun to eat.
Will definitely be returning at some point to try out...
