J3 Debt Solutions Limited — Local services in Great Britain

Do not use this Company. They use and accept referrals from unregulated debt advice companies. They breach their own agreements. They accept agreements without a witness signature, despite it explicitly being stated as a requirement in a legally binding document, breaching the legislation and regulations. They fail to investigate issues when you highlight them. They fail to respond to complaints within their own SLAs. They enter you into an agreement despite you stating you feel harrassed by them.. they email you and text you constantly to get you to enter into it. A breach of the Bankruptcy Act btw! They fail to advise you when increasing your term. They add extra fees on that are not listed in the agreement. They don't advise you the effects of changing payment values. They add your property in as herited without getting independent surveys. Then claim they got one done but no one enters your property to survey and they can't produce the survey. Recently I've also been subjected to extortion, coercive and manipulative tactics to get me to pay more money. They stated they would waive their fees 'on the condition' that I increase my payments to them, they subsequently threatened to resign from the deed if I didn't increase my payments. I'm now currently being subjected to a demand of an increase of payments over 300%, 1000% increase from the original agreement figure. Despite having sent them my expenditure, they are not accepting this as they use a computerised system call a common financial tool and take that for verbatim. Trying to force me to lead and undignified lifestyle and make drastic changes and they have refused to allow any spending for Christmas. All of which I'm sure breaches both Human Rights and Equality Acts. Baring in mind I've already paid £2.5k over the original debt value and they now want a further £9k from me. So that would be a total of £11k over and above original debt value. And they want that £9k paid within 5months. Absolutely unrealistic. Honestly the worst thing to ever deal...

I had a great life when I worked for a company that paid well, and like everyone else, I took out loans and used credit cards to make improvements to my house and buy things for my kids. However, one day I was blamed for an accident at work that changed my life around. I was unable to repay my creditors after two years, which caused me to get stressed out and stop sleeping, paying attention, and generally acting like a human. Believe it or not, as soon as I made the online inquiry, they got in contact with me, I explained my situation, and they went over all of my options for receiving financial assistance. I would want to add that every employee at this organisation is really courteous, kind, and full of wonderful words. They solved my issue, and I was able to feel like a human again this morning as a result of them. At best a business that exists to profit from debt management, at worst coercive and dangerous.

Searched on google for stepchange and got J3 instead.

Absolutely lovely on the phone, slightly pushy towards options that make J3 money but that's a given.

J3 Explained that i would not be granted a trust deed and was given the 'you need to speak to my manager' treatment and told that an IVA was the solution. My phone then died. Since then my emails have been totally ignored despite a promise to be there every step of the way.

Please be aware that J3 will give your contact details to everyone they contact on your behalf - This means that if like me you are left high-and-dry half way through the process you creditors will bully you 100 times worse than before.

I have been forced to change my phone number that i have had for 18 years and buy flowers for my friend who lets me use her address ( i am homeless because of debt ) because she is getting so many letters. Nationwide have withdrawn my overdraft as they now know im in financial difficulty, so im actually WORSE OFF since contacting J3.

ONLY J3 had that address, so they led the wolves to my friends door.
