Unreliable and untrustworthy. I made a telephone booking for a full day spa package for 2 people. When asked if I was a hotel guest I confirmed no I was not, and I could pay a deposit no problem (literally had my card in hand). The receptionist said no it wasn't a problem, that was me all booked in (I could hear her typing and clicking away, so she was at something) and I could pay in full on the day. She actually re-read the booking to me, time, date, package etc. 'Look forward to seeing you then'.
Fast forward a day later and I receive a call from the Spa Manager saying she had been left a note to contact me, to arrange an appointment. I said no, I had already made an appointment (at 17.51 on Wednesday 15 January to be precise lol). She asked me to confirm the date and time and she said no, another client was booked in then and there was no other availability. I asked her to double check and apparently I was wrong, no appointment had been made. In fact I should have paid a deposit to secure my booking (as if this was my fault). I left the call confused.
I called back and got another girl who accused me of trying to get her into trouble (She claimed it wasn't her who took my call the previous night. I didn't say it was, calm down.) This time I was told that a hen party was booked in, and had been booked in for months. So I couldn't have made an appointment. Why did the previous receptionist I booked with not know this? Why am I being made to feel like I made the mistake?
I have no idea what went wrong here, but someone needs re-trained on how to use their booking system. Serious incompetency of staff here.

Booked in my mum and girlfriend for a spa treatment, I asked twice on the phone during booking do we need to bring the voucher or anything else and got told "no just your bathing suit".
Fast forward to the day and I wake up from night shifts to my mum and girlfriend not having a relaxing time but instead stressing because they all of a sudden needed a copy of the voucher, had to pay double what was originally paid.
I rang up and spoke to a lady named Layla who was very helpful and polite and has issued a refund now the voucher has been accepted when I rang up again.
5 days waiting for 150 quid because of one of your member of staffs mistakes, and on top of that it being a stressful experience and not relaxing is an absolute joke with how expensive everything is at the minute.
It took 4 days of ringing to get through to the spa to book in the first place, tried to ring the hilton hotel section but they cant be bothered to walk 2 minutes down the hallway to ask them to pick up the phone.
Asked if we can rebook or go home to pick up the voucher and was told no on everything, no flexibility and wouldnt even let us book for another day.
Massage treatment did not feel like 25 minutes at all either, maybe 15.
Its a shame because after being stiched up for another 150 quid (300 total for a 150 session) the facilities were lovely and Layla was very polite and helpful.
If you are going to spend money on a spa/relaxing day do not use this place because you will be more stressed by the end of it. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the people involved.

Read moreAVOID!!! I have contacted the spa regarding the experience with them and no response so I will voice my opinion direct here. Spa was dirty, “i will say” we were in their at 5pm until 7 so late in the day but for the cost there is no excuse for this. the jacuzzi was lukewarm and had things floating in it, the handrails getting in are extremely loose making it difficult to enter the jacuzzi when the bubbles are on because their is so much foam from over use of chlorine which end up leaving the skin prickly, also their are more little tiles kicking around the the jacuzzi than actually attached. Leaving sharp edges that you catch your feet on when you walk in it.
The sauna was at best 50c not warm at all I spent 10 mins in there thinking it would warm up but it didn’t.
The steam room I couldn’t fault it was nice.
The pool was freezing and again over use of chlorine which really stings the eyes after only a few mins.
The treatments I had a 25 mins massage that was only at best 15 mins. In total I was in the treatment room for 20 mins but this includes then sorting the bed, leaving to get comfortable at the start and finish. The person massaging me, proceed to wear gloves for the treatment which is extremely weird, and it became evident she was actually ill coughing on me while I was laid there.
£25 an hour for the spa and over priced treatments. No value for money at all, don’t waste your time and hard earned money for a poor experience with these.
