La Famiglia in Liverpool offers an exceptional dining experience with a distinct touch of Sardinian hospitality. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, which feels both cosy and authentic, reflecting the family-oriented nature of the establishment.
The menu is a delightful journey through traditional Sardinian cuisine, with a variety of freshly prepared dishes. Highlights include homemade pastas, rich sauces, and beautifully presented dishes that burst with flavour. The fettucini pistachio was particularly memorable, with a creamy pistachio sauce that perfectly complemented the fresh pasta.
The service was another standout feature. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they serve, creating a welcoming environment where you feel well taken care of throughout your meal.
While it may be slightly on the pricier side, the quality of the food, combined with the attentive service, makes La Famiglia well worth a visit. Whether you're a fan of Italian cuisine or simply looking to enjoy something a little different, La Famiglia delivers a truly satisfying and memorable experience in the heart...
Read moreTalk about judging a book by its coverâŚâŚ.we went in tonight for a family dinner 2 adults and 2 teenage boys with no booking. There was 2 free tables and we were told the only table they had was a high top breakfast bench with 4 stools. After 20 mins we had to ask for menus and basically beg to be served. We then asked could we avail of the empty tables which was denied even though they were suddenly available when a table of 4 people also âwalk insâ arrived. They were automatically served before us also. Throughout the night the âmanager/ownerâ behind the bar continuously looked down his nose at us and dismissed our requests until it came to us paying our ÂŁ200 bill which obviously shocked him. At this point he then apologised for the âtable mishapâ and wished us a good night. He obviously thought we were a waste of a table for him but I guess he thought wrong. Poor service food was ok definitely would not recommend or would not return. Would advise said man to work on his...

This Italian restaurant is located closer to the business district of the city centre, just behind Victoria Street, around 15mins walk from Lime Street Station.
The restaurant looks great upon walking in, with the restaurant separated into two floors providing plenty of room and open space for customers. The staff and waiter that served my table were very friendly.
The food itself is on the pricier side, I ordered the Paccheri Mare, which is seafood pasta for ÂŁ16. The seafood was fresh and the sauce that was used was full of flavours, a good combination with the seafood and paccheri pasta. The portion wasnât what I was expecting but this restaurant is more on the fancier end so it would be expected.
Overall, the paccheri mare was very tasty and the service was good. Just a bit on the pricier end for...
