It is within walking distance to both ends whether it is towards Knightsbridge or turn the other direction to head towards Marble Arch. Just across the road there are multiple bus stops and easily take you to major parts of the city e.g. White City and shop at Westfield.|The housekeeping is not great. Many a times I had to go downstairs to the front desk to remind them to vacuum the place properly. They claim to provide daily housekeeping but throughout our 8 days there it was sloppy and oftentimes bits of loose particles were seen on the floor esp the edges of the rug. I had to go down every other day to request a better cleaning job because the phone in the room was not working. They have a tiny lift so we would rather take the stairs, but then they did not vacuum the carpet properly and it was easy to see bits of residue peppered throughout the stairs. Their staff were doing an okay job that provides basic hotel service of meeting and greeting, checking in / checking out but if you are looking for great smiles or staff taking the initiative to go the extra mile then that was scarce. They do not have laundry bags and so we had to ask for some refuse bins to hold the dirty laundry. The room is also not as big as that shown on their website. There is a wardrobe and a safe but the former has seen better days --- could tell they have repainted a few coatings to conceal the chipped or dirtied spots. The bathroom is tiny and it is hard to turn when you are inside the cubicle. The hand basin is tiny. The best thing about the bathroom is the steel rods that you can turn on and dry small items like socks overnight. The water pressure isn't strong enough and the drainage was not smooth flowing. They have a square steel tin supposedly to hold a small tissue box, but it was empty when we checked in. We asked for a tissue box and was told they did not have it, and the best they could do was to give us an extra toilet roll. The small kitchen area is also stained and tea bags are limited. Past reviews claimed people were happy with the cleanliness but we beg to differ. It is a place to stay for the good location but other than that if you are looking for comfort , space and super cleanliness then...

Very bad experience. I booked an apartment on the 3rd floor and it was clearly mentioned that there was an elevator, but when I arrived, I found the elevator out of service during the entire stay. We had to use the stairs every day, which caused a lot of inconvenience, especially for elderly family members. What made it worse is that there was no compensation or cooperation from the hotel to solve the issue. The service was not as promised, and I will not repeat this experience. ....................

Update Thank you for your reply. However, during my entire stay the elevator remained out of service, and no alternative solution or compensation was offered. I also requested a refund so that I could look for another place, but my request was refused. I had clearly mentioned that I was traveling with elderly family members, and it was extremely difficult for them to climb the stairs every day. Because of this, we had to spend most of our time outside just to avoid going up and down the stairs more than once a day. This apartment was supposed to be the best choice for me and my family based on the reviews on Booking.com and the high price compared to other options, but instead it turned into a very negative experience. The suffering my family went through due to this issue left us deeply disappointed. What made it worse is that even Booking.com did not handle the matter properly, refused to refund the amount to help us find an alternative place, and this made me lose trust in the...
