đ Green Park đşÂ ÂŁ6.55 Paulaner â¤ď¸ A small but perfectly formed Mayfair pub. . Nestled on a corner in Shepherd Market youâll find The Chesterfield Arms. The nearest tube is Green Park. . Steeped in history, the building has been a pub since 1737. It was originally known as The Chesterfield Arms until 1938 when it was renamed the Shepherdâs Tavern. Close to the RAF Club in Piccadilly, this Pub was a main drinking haunt of Fighter Command in WW2. On the outside of the pub is a blue plaque celebrating Wendy Richard of Eastenders fame, Wendy's parents were landlord and landlady at the pub when she was a child. . This pub went through an extensive refurb last summer and the results are simply stunning. This is a gorgeous building and the refurbishment has restored this building to its beautiful best. This pub has a cozy ground floor bar and an upstairs dining room with traditional decor as stunning as the exterior. There is a parquet floor, a beautifully crafted servery and a sumptuous banquette leather bench under the window. . The beer selection was good and included four cask options and one of my favourite beers, Paulaner. My pint was great, it was a bit pricey but this is Mayfair. The food menu is full of elevated seasonal British pub classics, I must say that the food smelt amazing as it wafted around the bar. For comparison, Fish & Chips costs ÂŁ17. . The atmosphere here was superb, it was relaxing and convivial with a maturer crowd in attendance. The clientele were a mix of locals, tourists and day trippers all of which were enjoying the elegant surroundings. . The @chesterfieldw1 is a stunning pub in a great location and I loved the ambiance here. The beer and food choices are good with price point a little high. This is a great place to take your partner or have a drink or two with your bestie. . âšď¸ Info correct on...

We stumbled across this bustling pub just off Curzon Street and were immediately drawn in by the atmosphere. People were spilling out onto the street, pints in hand, chatting and laughingâit was everything you'd hope for in a proper London pub.
The fish and chips were excellent. The batter was crisp, the fish inside beautifully moist, and the thick-cut chips had that ideal contrastâcrunchy on the outside, fluffy and flavoursome within. Served with mushy peas, tartare sauce, and a generous helping of chip shop curry sauce, it was a classic done right. The mushy peas, included marrow, which explains the almost silky texture, but not much depth of flavour. I'm not a mushy pea fan, but I genuinely enjoyed my first try. The curry sauce was so good Iâm planning to recreate it at home.
The chicken Kiev was another hitâjuicy, tender, and hot with a crunchy coating. It came with a wedge of iceberg lettuce, a drizzle of dressing (I suspect it was curry-based), and a few simple garnishesârefreshing and tasty. Served with standard fries, it was a satisfying plate.
For dessert, Ihad the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and candied pecans. The ice cream and pecans were the standoutsâsweet, creamy, crunchy perfection. The pudding itself was nice, though it did seem microwaved. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake - both perfectly acceptable, but not the showstoppers of the meal.
Service was warm, attentive, and proactive. Not once did we have to flag anyone downâthey anticipated our needs without hovering.
In short, Iâd recommend The Chesterfield Arms in a heartbeat. Great food, great vibes, and a true slice of British culture. 2 mains, 2 desserts, 3 pints, water and a cuppa came to...

Yesterday we went for a drink with my wife and father in law at 4pm in the afternoon. We were sitting at the closest table to the bar. Out of a sudden Two of your guests sitting at our neighboring table started to verbally abuse my wife. They were saying stuff like: "look at me sweetheart", "Don't ignore me!" sending kisses and winks for more than 20 minutes. My father in law (60 years old) started to shout at them after they were abusing the only woman his daughter at our table. After this shock, I stood up and went to the barman and asked him calmly and kindly: Please remove those people from their facility immediately, my wife is getting abused. The bartenders have clearly seen the whole thing that happened in front of them but tried to act like everything is normal. Their answer was: a big bloody nothing, they didn't address shit
Iâm disgusted that as a woman you canât go out for a drink at daylight no matter what you wear without being harassed. I'm disgusted that even if you have âprotectionâ in the form of older men with you that doesnât make a difference. I'm disgusted that women have to feel bad and guilty for making their 60-year-old dad so stressed he nearly collapses. We are just all around hurt that itâs 2022 and we donât want to bring a daughter...
