The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane — Hotel in London

I went for a hot stone massage, which was nice. But women, be advised of the men in areas you might not expect to find them, and in what is supposed to be a gender-segregated spa. There was a man in grey who walked through the waiting area outside the treatment room while I was in a bikini, having just come from the steam room and awaiting my massage - never seen this before. Then, when I left the treatment area after my massage, someone had put up a divider to split the female waiting area from the male waiting area. When I asked why this divider wasn't there before, I was told that the waiting area - by the treatment room, not the foyer - was for both men and women IN A SPA!!!! They said they put the divider up because there was a hijabi lady and wanted to give her privacy. They had no concern for my privacy because I wasn't wearing a hijab. Not very...

I have been to many spas and hands down four seasons London is the best. The facilities are wonderful, the massage is excellent, and the relaxation rooms after have led to many a relaxed / accidental nap. Very poor customer service and one I'm not used to experiencing at this level of hotel. It was only when I got up to leave and one of this persons colleagues who had been rude to myself and a friend then explained to him who I was that he chased after me apologising.
