A lovely temple located at Margaret Street, about 17 minutes by foot from the Orchard Street / Selfridges bus stop. It hosts a number of events which are managed by volunteers, who are always very sweet and kind. The main shrine/prayer and meditation area has the Sakyamuni Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and Bhaiį¹£ajyaguru (medicine Buddha). The bodhisattvas Guanyin and Kį¹£itigarbha have separate shrines. Very clean and well maintained, and the volunteers are very knowledgeable with clear passion for their work. Every Sunday at 1:30 pm, there are prayers led by monks, and they do different prayers in rotation. As far as I know, they chant the diamond sutra and prayers to the medicine Buddha; I'm unaware of other chants performed, but I'm sure they are all equally well coordinated. I've visited twice and I've enjoyed the experience...

Visited during Lunar New Year, and was so impressed with how warm and friendly all the staffs were. We were given some free food, and a lot of Lunar New Year goodies. There were also several festival holiday activities. The staffs present were also very helpful in answering any question we may have about Chinese traditions.
The atmostphere is calm, peaceful and welcoming. The temple is very clean...

It was the first time, I was walking up and down the stairs in a multi-storied building without difficulty. It was just so amazing....
