Was recommend Yalla Yalla by a colleague at work who had visited twice before and said the food was very good. I have tried Lebanese cuisine already but was open to trying a new place. We decided on a joint birthday dinner to celebrate.

We came on Fri 14-03-25 and were promptly seen to our seats, the restaurant wasn't packed as there was space but still a few others.

There is so much to choose from in both the Starters and Main Menu, it was hard to decide. My friends and I decided to share a portion of Falafel and Tony's Hummous. The Falafel was one of thee best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside and soft/moist on the inside - cooked to perfection. What's your secret? Tony's Hummous was nice and creamy with the olive oil and a bit of crunchy Cauliflower, I would have liked a bit more. I decided to try the Spiced Lamb Flatbread, very tasty, melted in the mouth. Delicious.

Mains we had Lamb Kofta Grill, Cauliflower and Chickpea Tagine and Aubergine Tagine. The Lamb Kofta was delicious, very tender and spiced nicely. I would have liked a tad bit more rice but that is trivial. The meal was very tasty. The girls enjoyed their vegetarian options.

As it was my birthday I decided to treat myself to the Shambania Bellini Non Alcoholic cocktail which was very nice, sweet but not sickly. Like a nice fruity tropical punch. I also had the Leymona - Lemon and Lime Lemonade which was very refreshing. The girls had the Roomana, i tried a bit and it was okay but I like my citrus flavours.

Then lastly with desserts, I decided to go all out and had the Baklawa Selection and Portion of Ice-cream - One of each flavour, Chocolate, Vanilla and Pistachio. The baklawa was nice but a bit hard, it would have been nice if it was freshly made but it still tasted good. The ice-cream was very good.

The girls enjoyed their desserts, they had the Mango Cheesecake and Orange Blossom Mouhalabia.

Overall good portions, very good taste, great service and lovely ambience. A very nice evening out. Our waitress/staff were attentive and polite. Prices very reasonable. Would definitely recommend visiting here.

Terrible service and management scammed us and won't refund us!

We were here on Friday last week and ordered food and ONE beer. We paid all together and only realised they charged us for 4 beers instead of 1 after we paid. We then asked for a refund and they said it wasn't possible to do one immediately because "the machine can't do that". So I had to give all my bank details to get refunded. They promised they would do it quickly because customers are a priority etc etc, which obviously wasn't the case. Monday evening I called the restaurant asking about the money and they said they didn't do the transfer, but they will "absolutely, 110% do it tomorrow morning", which is exactly what they said on Friday about Monday. Of course they didn't send the money on Tuesday either. So I call them THREE times trying to get a hold of someone who knows about this, but everyone I speak to acts clueless like nobody remembers this ever happening, although the manager claimed he had informed the whole staff about it and to expect a call about a refund. Again they tell me that they will "absolutely, 110%" send the money the next day. I also make it explicit that I want to be refunded for both the beers AND the service charge associated with them -- I don't want to pay an extra 12.50% on something I didn't buy. Of course, this morning they finally refunded the beers but kept the service charge. The conclusion is that I highly suspect they do this on purpose, they sometimes throw in the bill stuff you didn't purchase and make it as hard as they can to get a refund from them, so that you give up and let them keep the money. Do...

This was an interesting experience from start to finish. We went for the Festive Feast which included Mezze to share for starters and then one large plate for mains. We chose this option as it appeared to be good value for money - we couldn’t have been more wrong. For 4 people we had half a small flat bread each, half a falafel each, two pickles each, and one small plate of hommos and baba ghanouj which amounted to not even a tablespoon of each dip per person. At the least we would have expected to have 1 flatbread and 1 falafel per person - the portions were extremely slim pickings. As for the mains, two people received their mains along with the mezze starter, and those of us who ordered salmon had to wait for another fifteen/twenty minutes. Those who had the lamb & tahina tarator, it arrived timely but cold. The mains tasted okay but were extremely simple and again definitely not worth the money. As for the service, I understand it is the festive season and busy, but there was no organisation at all. Service was slow with everyone’s meals arriving cold and at random times. When it came to the bill there was a lot of confusion and I had to get a calculator out and do the maths for them. I had already had the £40 deposit taken from my account and was communicating that the bill should be the total amount less the deposit, and they thought I had said we had already paid for the whole meal. We managed to sort it out in the end but it wasn’t the easiest of transactions. I would never dine and dash, regardless of quality, but in this case I was...

Four of us ate here a couple of weeks ago and chose the iftaar set menu. All of us had mixed opinions on this. 1)The food: the starters were so delicious, filling and fresh. Especially the soup, so so good. The mains were very bad, to the point all four of us barely touched our food. I put this down to the restaurant trialling tagline dishes because I’ve not seen anyone else post it in the photos. The lamb cubes for the lamb tagine were actually cheap tasting meatballs and the chicken tagine had a strange sauce nothing like tagine. Again, I’m guessing they were trialling this, because it was so drastically different from the other food we had here, and other people in the restaurant seemed to really be enjoying their food. The dessert was AMAZING. One of the most DELICIOUS desserts I have ever had in my life 2) the service: the service was IMPECCABLE, I cannot emphasise how amazing it was, how attentive the servers were, how they treated you like you were in their own home and brought out extra lemon for us, gave my friend a prayer mat to use and were generally so friendly. 3)price: very fair especially for London. Other comments are: a halal/ Muslim restaurant should really have a shattaf in the bathroom or its equivalent. Please take that meatball tagline off your menu, we all ended up giving our mains to the homeless and I’m sure they were disappointed too. I’ll still come back because everything else was delicious and service was excellent.

Alright hear me now, I went to Yalla Yalla just of Oxford street for my friends birthday meal it’s a Lebanese restaurant with lovely service a quite a wide range of food on the menu. Our server Houssam was very friendly and quite helpful. I got a large mixed grill and a strawberry lemonade. The large Mixed grill It came with a small portion of rice with an equal amount of salad, it also lamb kofta and chicken taouk and chicken wings. The salad was fresh but nothing really to rave about the chicken taouk was okay a bit seasoned but also a bit chewy not my favourite. The wings were more seasoned and because it was “large” I got two more than I would have but the wings them selves were quite small so they were short lived. The lamb kofta was probably my favourite thing on the plate in terms of meat it was seasoned well, well cooked and it worked best with the rice salad and other sauces. It also came with their own garlic and chilli sauce. My main problem with this was the portion size as I paid an extra £5 for a large mixed grill and it looked like it was a normal serving so that was pretty disappointing and not worth the money at all. The strawberry lemonade though with sweet and sharp and just brilliant, it was so nice I got it twice. 10/10 Overall I’ll give it a 6.7/10 because I feel like I was scammed by the large mixed grill. I could come here again but I would get something else.
