This I see my third time renting from Home from Home. We are repeat customers for a good reason. Their customer service is outstanding. Each team member was very attentive and organized - right down to the taxi service for picking us up at Heathrow to taking us to Gatwick for our further adventures. Cyril who runs the taxi service is wonderful. He and his team are always courteous and prompt. We stayed at a house on Edge Street which is a property on the border of Kensington and Nottinghill. This place was on a very quiet street and was immaculately clean and fully equipped with modern kitchen appliances and washer/dryer.
The house is extremely central and convenient to the tube and London attractions. Nottinghill Gate was less than a five minute walk and Kensington High Street was a 10 minute walk from the house. Kensington Park was a 15 minute walk. There are 3 super markets conveniently located within easy walking distance of the house - Tesco, Sainsbury and a really nice Whole Foods too.
Thank you Home from Home for such wonderful service and a beautiful and comfortable home for our stay! We will be back again and definitely be renting the Edge Street...
Read moreWe rented a lovely flat in Chelsea for a month. Everything was extremely well organised and went very smoothly.
The Home From Home staff were all wonderful - accessible, responsive and knowledgeable. The flat itself was perfect for us as it was right in our old neighbourhood, was properly fitted-out with all of the necessary kit and was well maintained. Both the taxi pick-up/delivery to LHR and the optional cleaning service were great and made the "not fun" bits so easy.
When a maintenance issue arose in the flat on our second day, Home From Home immediately offered to move us (as the issued was resolved quickly, we opted to stay). The following day we received flowers and chocolates - a nice touch!
We could not have been happier with the flat and Home From Home and we will definitely use them again on...
Read moreThe home and the place were very nice -- but don't accidentally break anything. They will replace the items and tack on "delivery fees" that cost more than the item that needs replacing. In business if there are accidents, the offended party should be made whole -- not profit. In my instance, they profited over 100% of the value of the damaged item. The say they reserve the sole authority to determine damage values and procedures used to replace damaged items. But they choose the most expensive procedures and in my case, they marked up the extra fees by 153.46% over the manufacturer's delivery costs. If your stay goes nice, it will be good, but consider the risks if you cause any accidental damage when dealing with people that will do this...
