About 20 days ago, I bought a pair of shoes from JD. I wore them just once very briefly outdoors and realized they were far too tight. The shoes are still like new, with tags attached and barely any wear on the sole – I even cleaned the bottom before returning them. I went back to the same store to exchange them for a bigger size, but the store manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. Instead of assisting me, he responded with an arrogant attitude saying, “if you had wiped the sole properly, I would have accepted it” – even though the sole was already clean with only a tiny white spot. What’s worse is that he didn’t even check the receipt – not the date, not the product details, nothing. He simply refused the return because of a tiny mark. He even said, “I wouldn’t take this back – try another branch, maybe someone else will do you a favor.” When I explained that I had a similar issue before at another JD branch and they were helpful, he insisted that “they were just being too kind.” All of this rude and dismissive behavior came directly from the store manager himself. I didn’t expect such poor treatment from such a big brand. I felt completely disrespected and ignored. I’ve never had such a bad experience anywhere else. I will never shop at this...

I chose the pair of trainers that i wanted to exchange them for took them up to the counter and explained my situation. The woman in the store had a look at the trainers and told me that i had already worn them, she said she couldn't exchange my trainers and looked down on me like i had used the trainers and then wanted to change them, i was very adamant that i had not worn them because they don't even fit my foot and the trainers were brand new, the sticker on the inside was still intact which it wouldn't of been if i had previously worn them, she was not helpful at all and i had no choice but to leave the store. Ended up going to a different JD store and they exchanged the trainers with no problem. I wouldn't recommend...
