吃饱了🤰🤤🫠🥴Reasonably priced and the food portions are huge! Halal.
My friend and I ordered the Stewed Beef Noodle Soup. She ordered very thin noodles, while I ordered flat ones. It all came down to £12 each. The pictures don't do the bowl sizes justice. The bowls were really large and we were struggling so much to finish 😅 but it was absolutely delicious!
Personally, I would just get one bowl to share with a friend next time because it was so much for me. The broth and beef (before adding chilli oil) had a subtle creamy, nutritious and clean taste to them. I've had lamian in London before and this is probably the top when it comes down to authenticity and portion size.
The tables, the layout of the condiments and utensils, the view of the talented chefs hand-pulling the noodles with immaculate skill and strength, just the whole atmosphere took me back to the liveliness and cosiness of restaurants in Asia.
The food also arrived extremely fast, which further amplified the chefs's expertise. This is honestly one of the best places to go for comfort food.
There were a lot of customers who also came to eat alone, the atmosphere is great for coming with friends as well as grabbing a bowl just for yourself. I loved the way people were comfortable enough to just pick up their bowls and drink the soup!
I think introverts could come here for solo eating as the tables are arranged in the corner of all the bustling. Nevertheless, you may need to share the table with strangers as they are those long tables with one long bench on either side, but everyone seems to just mind their own business and enjoy the food and it's an overall friendly atmosphere. They also have seating downstairs and outside!
The air is filled with chatter and the sounds of the chefs working on their craft so there's no room for awkward silences at all, you can just enjoy your food without having to think of the next line to a conversation. You also don't have to worry about where to look as an introvert, you can simply just look at the chefs cooking haha!

Read moreI visited this place today with my family of 6 for a late lunch and had a pretty bad experience. We are Indians on a much awaited London trip. Went to this noodle bar after reading some really good reviews. But what we faced was absolutely unacceptable.
Our server was a young girl, who kept on acting as if she couldn’t understand my English (I am a doctor with an IELTS score of 8.5). We have a smaller appetite compared to many and wanted to order 3 dishes and share amongst ourselves. When I asked for 2 extra bowls, first she acted as if she couldn’t understand me, then she mentioned that they don’t have any small bowls and finally on asking repeatedly, she agreed. What she did next was the most appalling. I had already noticed that she was serving normal drinking water to all tables in paper glasses along with the food. But she didn’t give us water at all. When I asked her to serve us regular drinking water, she kept on repeating that they only have mineral water bottles which we need to buy. Finally on pointing out that she had already served regular water to the other tables, did she agree to get us the same. An American family sat at the next table, chatting for quite some time, after having finished their food. She didn’t bother to approach them. But she visited our table twice while we were eating and the moment we finished eating, she approached us thrice and asked us to clear the table and pay.
If not racism, I don’t know what this was! Why did a Chinese girl working at a well known, well reviewed restaurant in a cosmopolitan city like London with such a huge population from the Indian subcontinent behave so rudely with customers?
Very very dissatisfied. Not that the food was any good! I have had authentic Chinese at the Singapore Chinatown. What we were served at this place tasted worse than what we get on the...

This is one of those places that you really come just for the food. Good handmade noodles made in the shop, big portions and low prices (especially for the area it’s situated in!). They have a lot of choices for soup and dry noodles, and also some rice dishes along with ready cooked dished at the counter (fried noodles, stir fry etc.). Still, I recommend going for the noodles should you dine here. Although the soup/broth is just average, still, noodle soup always hits the spot during colder days of the year. A great place to get a quick hot bowl of noodles!
Why do I say you come here just for the food? Well, do not expect good service because all the staff is interested in is fast turnover so while the food will be served fast, they aren’t too nice about you taking your time (they won’t say anything but you can definitely feel their eyes on you) especially if there is a long queue outside. As the place is small, do expect to be seated with other people on the same table. The staff could be more helpful (there was this guy sitting at the next table who was confused by the menu and asked questions, but the staff wasn’t very helpful, and quite pushy in him making a order). You could complain but I don’t see them improving their customer service seeing how they are constantly packed, and is very popular among Asians who are mostly unfazed by this...
