Revisit: September 2024 Choir of men is still one of the best shows in town. Fun, exciting and touching. Talented group of young men making great theatre.

Love it.

Original:

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this theatre! I can't find a single thing not to love about it. The location is just a minute's walk from Leicester Square station, making it incredibly convenient. The bar is welcoming and adds to the overall experience.

The theatre itself is small and cosy, and no matter where you sit, you're practically right next to the stage. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house with restricted views. The legroom is also great, providing extra comfort during the show.

Speaking of the show, "The Choir of Man" was incredibly enjoyable! I went with my beloved and her 86-year-old mum, and they had an absolute blast. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were only a few unsold seats because this show deserves a full audience every night. I hope it continues running for years to come.

While the stage setting may not be overly sophisticated, it more than makes up for it with the talent on display. The singers, dancers, and actors were all incredibly skilled and put on a remarkable performance. The song selection was fantastic, with beautiful harmonization throughout. The show also pays a great homage to the British pub institution.

I can't wait to see "The Choir of Man" again. If you have the means to splurge a little for a front-row seat and a chance to be a part of the show, I highly recommend it. It's an experience you'll remember...

Enjoyed a night out with some friends. I haven't been to the theatre for many years. An act of kindness from my friends, sitting around one evening amlnd decided to all book tickets to various theatre shows. The Choir of man was one of them and what an amazing Show it was. For someone that has t been to a show in years this has definitely made me want to see more. It was an amazing performance from all, small and quant , it was perfect. I actually felt We had the best seats. But if you lucky enough to be at the front be prepared to be pulled up on stage and have an interaction with the cast. I would say it was by far the best experience to watch such an amazing interaction that all the performers interacted with the audience. They wanted you clap, cheer and sing along. But with respect and guidance you knew when to not interact and that to me is how respect is given by the performers and the audience. Knowing when!!! Know your audience!!

I want to express how amazing each and every performer was. Their voices was just amazing and on point. The love, laughter and even tears you brought to many in the room. The song you they sang with all Mics turned off was just beautiful. You could hear a pin drop to how quiet everyone was.

Thank you a wonderful shoe and I look forward many more nights out and trips to the theatre.

Good Luck to all the performers and their many more shows to...

The Arts theatre in Gt. Newport St. Is a theatre just off Charing Cross road. The staff are very sociable and friendly and there is a very good bar area for all types of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and snacks. Currently playing is "Six" a musical about the six wives of Henry 8th . This is a must see production with a cast of 6 who are on stage singing and dancing for the duration of the hour and quarter it's on, there is no interval. This works extremely well as to have an interval would take away the intensity of the story. We wnt on Thursday evening and it was sold out which I believe most performances are. We're regular theatre goers and I can honestly say it's up there with the best we've seen. The 6 cast members are vibrant singers and dancers who tell their story through song and dance with humour and great acting. Treat yourselves to an entertaining night out which you won't regret and "Six" is on until July...

'All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend Down to ride 'til the very end, it's me and my boyfriend....' This classic didn't feature in the show but soon as hear the words Bonnie and Clyde this song does pop into my head. The show was enjoyable, some dramatic moments...oh boy the slap...wait for the slap. You will be cheering, you will see why. The songs were nicely sung and well performed. Like most theatres the seating needs updating it is too cosy, you have to squeeze past people to get to your seat. This leaves the tricky task of not spilling your wine. Sorry to the lady in front me, hopefully she thought it was rain..ooops. Also no holders to put it down. Bar staff were friendly, I would recommend getting the a bit earlier as the queue for drinks was a bit long. Overall a pretty excellent night out for a solo adventure.
