Our experience with London Perfect was absolutely perfect! From the very first email, we were impressed with their communication, professionalism, and desire to ensure that our pre, during, and post experience was ideal. We would email the office and get a swift response each time. We had an exceptionally positive experience with them and would highly recommend them to others looking for quality accommodations in lovely neighborhoods. My family of four, with two children ages 14 and 11, spent a week in South Kensington at the Cavendish apartment. This neighborhood was ideal for us; we could walk in any direction to dozens of great shops, restaurants, and cafes. The Cavendish is less than a five-minute, flat walk to the South Kensington underground station. We always felt safe in this upscale, less-frenetic neighborhood. We gave a $100 deposit for the key to the private garden across the street; it was a very pretty park to stroll through and relax. My son wished he could play catch there and soon realized it wasn't that kind of park. The Cavendish is on the top floor of its building. You could either climb the stairs or take the tiny elevator. Upon entering the apartment, you're immediately greeted by a bright, charming, and inviting space. The living room is comfortable and cozy. London Perfect graciously allowed us to check in around 7:30 a.m.; we were fortunate there were no guests the night before we arrived. We used the recommended car service and were picked up at Heathrow. Our driver was friendly and personable. As he drove, he gave us information and told us stories about what we could do at the places we passed. He took us up to the apartment, where we were later met by Sax from London Perfect. Sax went through how to operate the appliances, unlock all the windows, etc. It was warm our first day and I thought it would be an uncomfortable week without air conditioning, but the fans and opened windows cooled it down nicely. Once the weather cooled down, the beautiful cross breeze kept the apartment at a perfect temperature. We loved relaxing on the little balcony at night, where, if you leaned just the right way, you could see what we think was the London Eye. We were happy to have a washer/dryer, and we appreciated the items provided by London Perfect to get us started. They gave us, in order of importance, a bottle of champagne:), milk, orange juice, tea, biscuits, and Nespresso pods. We were able to walk to a market to get what we wanted for the week. The kitchen is adorable in its mini-ness; I wouldn't want to cook a grand meal in it; it was perfect for our purposes- breakfast, take away dinners, and snacks. If you are someone who requires great luxury, this apartment may not be right for you. It looks more lived in than it does in the pictures. We loved that about it. The towels are three-star-hotel-like. We should have asked for more towels early in the week- we just never got around to it. We found one outlet near a mirror, and that was in the second bedroom. If there was one in the master bath, we missed it. I accidentally left my son's new London sweatshirt in the dryer at the flat. London Perfect kindly and promptly mailed it to me in the U.S. We absolutely loved our stay in this flat and would love to return. We also will absolutely work with London Perfect again. As soon as we returned home, we began looking at the apartments they manage in other cities around the world. We had a wonderful week and wish we were...
Read moreWe had a nice week in the Primrose apartment with London Perfect in April. The Management company was terrific- very good follow through with some of the issues we encountered with the apartment and very pleasant to deal with.
Positively the apartment is in an ideal location- central to everything (Museums, Dining,Harrods etc.) and is in a very nice neighborhood with a park right across the street. It is right off King's road in Chelsea and Sloan Square so there is plenty of retail and restaurants for guests. The Master Bedroom and living room are very well appointed and large with sitting in the Master Bedrooms. Kitchen is well appointed as well with all of the appropriate appliances.
Constructively (from a feedback perspective) the flat is not really a 3 bedroom. We had my parents, my sister and I attending so we really needed 3 bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom at Primrose is ideal for a child (its the size of a large US closet) but certainly not for an adult. The bed is small and child sized so if you truly need 3 adult bedrooms this would not be a good fit for you. Although there are 2 full bathrooms there is only one shower. US consumers are used to doing showers so please be aware of this as we had to all share the one shower for the week. There was also a "sewer smell" emanating from the one bathroom. We did call and it was explained to us that the odor was coming from the shower. Sax explained that he has spent $ trying to fix it but it was inherent to the plumbing system. Does not sound like it can be corrected but I would be aware of this if you rent the apartment here. The last thing is you need to ask about whether there will be any construction around you during your stay. They were doing construction in the next building during our stay. Although the contractors do their best to minimize any disruption you certainly hear the noise during the day and there is dust going from the site to this flat so windows need to be closed. Not a big issue in the winter but certainly will be...
Read moreThe Victoria is an amazing property. It is spacious and luxuriously appointed, and the location is superior for major London sightseeing (major museums are nearby, and Kensington Garden is just up the road). I was there with three girlfriends, and the apartment was perfect for us. It would also be fabulous for multiple couples or for a family. The kitchen is very large and opens into the breakfast room with a large table and several plush armchairs. We congregated there for breakfasts and for the evening nightcap over which we de-briefed our day. There is also a very nice living room and a small but lovely courtyard patio, perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner glass of wine or morning coffee. The four bedrooms are lovely, with varying degrees of storage. The master is simply gorgeous, with a huge bathroom and walk-in closet with a safe for valuables. The other room on the second floor (that's American; in England it's the first floor because the ground floor is, well, the ground floor not the first floor) has bunk beds. I slept in the bottom bunk and it was very comfortable. It would not be good for an elderly person, though, because it is high and there is a protruding wooden slab that made mounting and dismounting a bit awkward. The bathroom is fabulous, though, with the only tub in the house. On the third floor, there are 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed, and each is beautiful. The built-in closets, shelving, and drawers throughout the house are very well done. I have stayed in LondonPerfect's sister company ParisPerfect's flats in Paris. In both locales, the attention to detail and customer service are outstanding. We also used Lushi Chauffeurs, recommended by LondonPerfect, and appreciate that company's responsiveness and service. The Victoria is an exquisite accommodation that I...
