OK food but disappointingly small portion and service. I ordered main dish: lamb ribs with sweet potato fries. I was asked how I want the steak and I told medium rare. The steak was prepared somewhere between medium well and well done. Also, look at the portion of the steak. Four bite sized pieces. I expected at LEAST double the amount of the meat. When the waitress asked me how was everything at the end of our meal I said the steaks were not medium rare and that the portion was laughably small. She spoke with the chef and they were kind enough to offer us a free dessert, or anything else we would like. This made me feel cared for and I felt a sense of fairness. At the same time, we were quite pressed with time so we couldn't stay to consume something else. When the chef heard that, he personally came to our table and apologized for the situation. He expressed his wish that we had said something at the beginning of our meal so that he could rectify the mistake. I totally see his point and I would totally do that next time. On the other hand I feel it was the waiter's responsibility to check in at the beginning of the meal. My friend ordered the chicken burger. Unfortunately I don't have the picture, but he said that "it was OK". The bun looked very unappetizing and factory made to me, but take my opinion with a grain of salt since I haven't tried his burger.

I never ever write reviews. Even if the food is not great i'll just let it slide, you win some you lose some. But this was so so bad, and so expensive I had to come online and warn everybody about this place. Me and friend ordered priority from uber eats, arrived quick in 20 minutes which was great, but that's where the positives end. The ribs were lukewarm and the sauce was watery, didn't stick to the meat which was kinda chewy and meh. The coleslaw was inedible, it was weirdly sour, we could not eat it, tasted like it had gone off. We ordered half rack and full rack (but they gave us 2 full racks, as both looked exactly the same...maybe an apology for the state of food). Chips were average too. Cost around £28 for the poor ribs, but even that was not enough for me to bother and write a review... and then I looked at the £12 hot dog. They literally used two of those gross sausages that come in a can in brine with some barley cooked onions. Even more hilariously the soggy bread used for the hot dog bun was cut in half, so it basically a brined sausage sandwich rather than a hot dog. Maybe they were just having a bad day as the other reviews seem to be decent, either way wont be ordering again to find out. Would be 1 star but the garlic bread with cheese was decent, so an extra star from that. If you like garlic bread this is your place.

Buffalo American Grill & Texmex is honestly one of the nicest places I’ve been to in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. You can tell it’s a family run business everyone there treats you like you’re part of the family. The owner is such a lovely man, genuinely kind and friendly, and you can see he takes real pride in his restaurant and cares about every customer’s experience. The food was absolutely amazing! The portions were really generous, and everything was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. There’s a huge variety on the menu with something for everyone. The presentation was great too, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff were so polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The whole environment had such a relaxed, friendly vibe that made it perfect for families, friends, or even a casual meal out. You can tell a lot of love and effort goes into this place, and it really shows in the food and service. Overall, I’d highly recommend Buffalo American Grill & Texmex to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and amazing people. It’s definitely the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Massive credit to the owner and his family for running such a wonderful restaurant!

Last minute Birthday meal. Due to booking the wrong day elsewhere we had limited options for Saturday night sit down. Came across Buffalo and managed to get a seat….we will be returning. Busy restaurant said it all. Owner, staff, atmosphere and most importantly the food and drink were superb. Cosy ambience with background music to set the scene. Nice seating and not sitting on top of the table next to you. Staff and I guess the owner were everything you would want to enjoy your evening. Drinks ordered then onto starters and mains. Hard to choose but looking at other meals we knew the choice would be hard. I settled for combo fajitas and margarita and my partner the burrito. I think you could have had the fajitas combo between 2. The portions are of a good size and bang on for the price point. Meat cooked to perfection and salsa and sides were fresh and tased amazing. Finished up with ice cream desert and then sat back with another margarita and chilled out for the remaining evening. Nice surprise to be handed a tequila shot to finish the night off which I can say worked a treat and warmed the senses for the cold weather outside. Overall 120 for a meal for 2. But. That’s a birthday meal for 2. Starters, mains, pudding with a good few cocktail drinks. 38 a head. Another restaurant I ate at this week came in at the same price and frankly had nothing on tonight’s experience. The cocktails are a must and set the tone for our night. Overall a great night out with everything you would want for an evening out. Family friendly and meals to suit all looking at what came from...
