We had a really poor experience overall over 3 visits for two wedding rings. Customer service lacked any empathy for the exciting time of buying your wedding rings. Upon our first visit the notes taken for the detailing on our rings to us seemed a little light on detail - so we already had a slight concern but trusted that they are doing this all the time so that didn’t matter. When visiting 3 weeks later we received my fiancés ring which she tried on, it fitted fine and looked nice, it just wasn’t what we’d ordered. Some key details which we’d discussed (which weren’t written on the invoice notes) weren’t remembered. So what about the second ring? We sat for 45 minutes without anyone speaking to us while they looked for my ring. Eventually they brought out “my” ring in a presentation box, only to reveal a completely different ring. So again we referred to the notes and the one piece of detail he HAD made note of wasn’t anything like what they’d shown us. So back to the cupboards searching for probably at this stage any ring that looked right. After being in store for over an hour we were told it’ll be another 20 minutes while they polish the ring. We left. On returning the ring was revealed, it was correct this time, but scuffed, and scratched. Back to the polishing room, another 20 minutes passed. The attendant then advised us “I don’t think you’ll be happy with it”, the ring had been polished to smithereens so that the brushed metal section was now as shiny as the rest. The stone sourced for me from Premier looked beautiful so I had it independently certified with GCS . The result was an AAA quality rated Ruby which I was told would cost £3k per K by the designer stores. I paid £2,250 for this stone (1.62K). This price is at a level you will not find. If you ask for independent certification Premier will honour the agreement prior to the results. Anyway, despite what might be a limited stock on high quality stones, the team source incredible quality and can supply at a price point that is unbeatable in 1st world countries and difficult to source from the market of origin.
