I went to this furniture store at the end of March. This is my second visit to this soho furniture store. The second time I came here was to buy a cup of coffee. Then I think it is reasonable for me to browse the products they sell in this store because I am a customer. The next thing that really shocked me was that while we were on the ground floor, I tried to take a picture of my friend, because the environment of the place was so nice. A very fat and unfriendly salesgirl stopped us, and in an extremely uncomfortable tone and manner, almost chased us away. I can understand because the shop is not a photo shop (but I didn't see any instructions about not taking photos). Some other girls in the shop took crazy photos and no one tried to chase them away. I think it's because we're Chinese. Then we went to the second floor and didn't want to take any more photos. Then I saw that the female shop assistant was almost watching our every move and immediately told her male colleague. My friend and I were speechless. It was obvious that there were a lot of customers in the store who needed to be served, but the fat girl ignored the other customers and kept watching if we were taking photos in the store. I think it's funny, I think some of the clerks in this store have terrible working attitude and service issues, and are racist. It's hard to believe a furniture store in soho would be like this. Their attitude ruined my day. As an international student influencer, I will put this shop on my instagram story and hope all the Chinese girls don't come. In the end, I seriously doubt whether the young waitress had a good education? I am extremely shocked that young people in London today...

I visited Soho home in Slone square for buying some X-mas presents. It was very beautiful display as usual and everything made me happy except a barista(Young lady with midium straight hair who worked around 1pm 6th December). Before browsing the shop I wanted to have some coffee with my friends so I ordered drinks and desserts. I had finished order and the barista told me something but I couldn’t hear it clearly. I asked it again and from that point she looks very annoyed and answered nervously. But I tried to understand because it’s very busy Christmas season and she’s maybe tired. But I reached the end of my patience when I asked the receit. She gave me the receit and she stared down me then told ‘oh, [rÉȘˈsiːt]!!’ I felt I came to school to learn english! Haha I know I can’t pronounce exactly same as native speaker but she totally understood what I’m saying! She wanted to be my english teacher or she’s the racist?? If not why she pointed out my pronunciation even she got it clearly! I think we buy your product and also good service. If we feel very bad in your shop and have awful experience there, we never come back to visit Soho home even you have precious things in the world. Don’t lose your value because of a rude...

I visited this store on Saturday at approx 18.45 we had a quick look around and ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate in the coffee shop on site. Well what can I say it went rapidly downhill from there. When we ordered the drink no one advised us the shop was closing at 19.00. Our drinks took a while to be prepared and arrived at 18.55. A very aggressive member of staff came up to us whilst we waited for our drink and said we are closing you need to leave. Once our drinks had arrived she came up again even aggressively demanding we leave as our drink where in take out cups. I stated our order should not have been taken if this was the case she said the coffee shop is a separate business. I informed her the hot chocolate was substandard and not to my liking and I requested a refund. I was denied a refund from both the member of staff and the barista. Both spoke rudely and aggressively on numerous occasions. As a regular customer to your establishments I'm shocked and frankly disgusted. Needless to say I won't be returning. I would like to thank the deputy manager on site who was the only courteous person who didn't seem to want to fight...

Soho Home should stick to selling coffee and cake, as they have no idea about selling furniture or customer service! We bought side tables, a coffee table and chandeliers. On the boxes said Made in China and Vietnam. The coffee marble table arrived with a fixed (glued; see images) crack in the middle. We emailed customer service with pictures of the crack but no one emailed us back. We then had to call. They apologised but still, they would not arrange a collection. After several calls, they gave us the telephone number of their delivery team so that we arrange collection directly with them. They finally came and collect but we didn't receive a confirmation email about it. We had to call again and this time they told us that they had not received it ( a week ago)!!! So not only they took it back they claim they do not have it so they are not giving us a refund! We now have to claim our money back through our credit card! What a joke! Never again! Waste of time and money.

This space was once used as a women’s fashion section, but now that Soho Home has moved in, it feels like the perfect fit — as if it’s finally found its home. Rather than a typical shop, it feels more like a studio. There’s a small cafĂ© just to the left of the entrance; while it doesn’t make full use of the building’s high ceilings, the open layout and warm, atmospheric design make it a lovely spot. The furniture and homeware aren’t exactly budget-friendly, but with the summer sales coming up, it’s worth keeping an eye out. If you’re visiting as a tourist, don’t miss the Duke of York Square just outside — especially the Saturday food market, which is perfect for a relaxing break.
